Hi all!

JOURNAL:

Wed Oct 14, 1:24am. It's exactly 12 hours into Day 14 of my water fast, and the question is "should I stay or should I go?" Here's a list I made to help me decide:

Reasons to Keep Going

▪ to experience uncharted territory (Stage 4: 16-30 days & Stage 5: 30 days and beyond; See Stages of Fasting)

▪ to get additional content for books, blogs and course emails like this

▪ to experience the dissolution of tumors and growths

▪ to completely empty the stomach (still feel like there's stuff inside)

▪ to completely eliminate body odor from toxin release

▪ to be able to speak/coach about all stages from a position of authority and personal experience

Reasons to Break the Fast

▪ I'm at 121 lbs (starting to look emaciated)

▪ I have a podcast/videocast interview coming up in 7 days and need to look "healthy" so I don't scare the viewers

▪ I don't think I'm hungry (which could be sure sign that I'm NOT), but I could be missing the signs

▪ As far as eliminating parasites, I may have gotten as far as I can go using a fast. As the next phase of my Worm War Protocol, I may wish to get the digestive system working again and use the anti-parasite herbs during the juice/broth transition stage.

As you can see, the first two reasons are based entirely on vanity. The second is just a concern. So, the truth is, after 14 days on a water fast, I still don't have any really compelling reasons to break the fast. However, there's a greater than 51% chance I'll be drinking my first glass of freshly squeezed orange juice today at about 1:30pm which is when I officially started the fast on Wed,Sep 30, 2020.

Do you have any thoughts or suggestions? Would love to hear them?

Hi Walt,

As for vanity? I don’t see it like that. It’s more about leading by example and teaching and you do both very well. I for one admire your dedication and tenacity and I think that others see the same values as I do. So in my humble opinion you should end it.

Wow. I am not a faster. So I am always impressed/intrigued when my friends do fast for weeks. I have friends who have fasted for 30 days, one who has done water only for that long. My thoughts are (with anything health related) that different bodies need different things. What ever works for you, works. If you feel well and are seeing the benefit you desire then it's good.

If you are no longer seeing the benefits and feel awful, then you should stop. I would consider environmental factors in a decision about how long to fast - weather, temperature, air quality, noise pollution and other stressors - how these affect your immune system, emotional well being, ability to rest and reset, self-care practices - all factor into this. I always think that personally I would need to be in a quiet, peaceful, meditative place with great air, great water, and away from many people, noise, cars, trains, planes and sources of stress AND having no schedule or urgent responsibilities - to live on only water for weeks. In other words, on a mountain at an ashram. But that's just me.

So, if you truly feel good and the benefits of going 30 days or longer are tangible, do it!

However, I understand that if you look unwell that it may have an effect on your event and how you come across (don't scare the attendees!). If this will affect your income in some way, this is reason to consider coming off the fast sooner. On the other hand, you can explain what you are doing and put them at ease knowing  that you are NOT sick. Also, so they understand why you look like Gollum. 🤣

I guess I am a day late and a dollar short. The one thing about fasting after the 3rd day your body has adjusted and you can go on for an extended period of time. It sounds like some adrenaline kicked in and you are feeling good. But I  think if you want to look healthy for the podcast I would break the fast. Like Stacey said every body function differently.
