One of the following typically fixes this issue:

1. If the file is open, close it before trying to use the Import From Excel feature.

2. Try opening the file in Excel or OpenOffice and saving the file to .xls (2003-2007).

3. Download and install the following file: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255

4. If the link listed with #3 doesn't fix it, then try downloading and installing this file: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=23734

I had this issue pop up this past week and it was because I had saved my entries as a .xlsx instead of a .xls file.  Resaved it as .xls and it uploaded just fine.

Thanks for the feedback.  I hate being ignorant. Should've been able to figure that since the only thing I changed on that laptop was an upgrade to Office 2013 it was the .xlsx extention.  Saved as .xls and no problem.  Thanks again.  Randy, Epic Fun Run Franchisor
