I have 2 items for sale:

1. The Plunger switch which allows you to start a race or manually mark finishers just as you would with a Sprint 8, Ultra L10 stopwatch, or Time Machine instead of hitting the Spacebar on the computer. Cost $75.00

2. Programming Antenna: Attach this to the FX7400, FX7500, FX9500 to simplify programming tags. Cost $40.00

Just wondering who has found the cheapest safety pins. I am looking to sell some and wanted to know what fair market value is. I know we usually buy them in boxes of 1440. I have some that are a little smaller (25 mm instead of 28 or 29 mm) and they are in boxes of 1700 and will work for what we need them for. Let me know what you have found and I will see if I can beat the price.

Bump...please make an offer if interested. I have a Motorola FX7400 (4 port) for sale. The firmware has been updated and it has been used for several races. AC adapter is *not* included. I have been powering it using a Power over Ethernet injector connected to a wireless router, which is a much better setup anyway. Paid $900, asking $700, and will include the PoE injector and programmed wireless router.

I'm getting out of the business, and only keeping the software and enough equipment for personal and charity use. Thanks!

I don't use generators and don't know much about what specs are good for generators, however for those that do want one I thought I'd share the information below because it looks like a good deal to me if you're looking for one.

I want to put in a good word for Robert's (rprout) plunger switch. I purchased one from him a few months ago and have used it in tests, and it's a great way to give my manual timer some flexibility so she doesn't have to just sit in one place hitting the spacebar throughout the race.

It's the same kind of plunger that Brian uses in his timing setup that you may have seen in some of his videos.

I found a deal I wanted to share for those that may be looking for a very cheap (but sufficient) laptop to use out at read zones on the course. I've never own an Acer laptop, but at $178 (shipped!) it would be tempting if I hadn't already purchased 8 laptops a couple of weeks ago. Here is the link if you're interested: http://www.frys.com/product/8298646?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

This would also work fine as a manual backup timing laptop too of course.

I am looking for a double sided LED clock for the finish line. I have noticed many of you have them. Do any of you have one for sale or have a recommendation on where to purchase one from.

This is the best deal I have found so far, but I am still shopping around.
I would appreciate any advice I could get.

has offered to sell it for $750 including tripod, 2 remotes and shipping.  I was waiting to buy but I have gone back and forth with him for awhile now to confirm everything.

I bought 32" LED flat screen TV's online for around $150 each, Audio 2000 Ast422y tripods on Amazon for $109.95 each, some 30' HDMI cables for $7.02 each, and a Sewell HDMI splitter for less than $20. So the total cost of our 'double sided clock' is less than $300. Besides the cost savings, what I like best is the fact that I have one less clock to sync up on the finish line. I also like that the TV's are a lot easier to transport in my car and that I don't have to remember to bring a remote. Of course there are some benefits of using an LED clock instead of a TV, but for me the benefits of using TV's outweighs the benefits of the LED clock.  :)

Sorry, I mean the total cost for everything is less than $600, not $300 (was only looking at the cost of a single TV).  I am very pleased with the tripod, I'm sure there is a way to get two TV's on it instead of using one tripod for each TV, however I like that I can easily move each TV around if I need to (for example move the one facing the camera closer so that it's easier to see in the photo).

I bought a double sided LED clock from the same vendor you are dealing with.  He was fair.  I bought mine via Ebay.  He created an auction specifically for the sale to me.  Mine was less than a year old when the "power supply chip" went out.  $64 to fix it.  See my YouTube post for more.

Brian, a huge disadvantage of a TV here in Ireland is the weather ha. The race clock mounted on the gantry is what really brings me in customers, they like the professional looking finish line, which gives good photos of the competitor with their finish time overhead.

But anyways, agreed about the annoyance about syncing the clock with the laptop (I often do it afterwards, esp if the start and finish are at different locations). The other disadvantage of the double sided clock that many of yous are interested in is the weight of it, if it was made of an aluminium body or even plastic this would significantly reduce the weight. Perhaps if enough of us were interested in purchasing these clocks, we could collectively approach one of the Chinese manufacturers, ask them how much of a premium it would be to do 2 things, 1stly reduce the weight, and 2ndly, programming the clock to receive a digital input from the agee program (could be anything as simple as a USB serial output, and put a USB port on the remote of the clock).

Or are you just looking for an RFID inlay to put on the front/back of bib numbers?  If that is the case then you can purchase SmartTrac Dogbones all over the place on the internet.  We get ours from IC-Tag Solutions.

Hi, all,

These items are still for sale. I received some inquiries awhile ago, but I didn't realize it because they were to my gmail address that I do not use. Please, if you are interested, do *not* use the 'reply' function of this Google group. Contact me at crystal [at] begoodsports [dot] com, otherwise I probably won't see your email for a month or two, if ever.

Please—I respectfully request that you refrain from sending me super-low offers that you would never consider taking yourself. You and I both know what this stuff is worth. I have included asking prices this time so you know what I expect you to consider.

EDITED 11/3/2015 to show what is sold and what is available. Items in grey are sold.

SOLD: Agee Race Timing FX7500 and TR200 package $1,975 OBO plus shipping

Motorola FX7500 4-Port RFID Reader w/ power supply
Thinkify TR 200 RFID reader (for backup)
5 Circular UHF Panel antennas
2 15’ low loss antenna cable
2 50’ low loss antenna cable
5 Dolica AX620B100 Professional Tripods
Plunger switch
The only thing out of the packages I ordered from Agee Race Timing that I am keeping is the UPS battery backup.

Selling separately:
SOLD: 788 used Agee Race Timing shoe/hip tags. No stickers or writing on them. Purchased for $591; asking $440 for the lot plus shipping.

Also:

2 START, 1 FINISH, and 1 checker banner flag. 10' x 2.5' with stands (some spike stands, two surface stands). Paid $700+; asking $500 plus shipping. Note that they have BE GOOD SPORTS in small print on the FINISH and START banners.

One portable finish line truss (On-Stage LS7730 Lighting Stand with Truss), never used except to assemble for photos. Paid $150; asking $120 plus shipping.

Four Guard Dog low-profile ADA-compliant interlocking cable protector mats, 36" by 27" —I use these as the combination finish line/cable protectors. Purchased for $660; asking $500 plus shipping. NOTE: they are HEAVY. I went this route because they look very professional, are just the right height, and you can change the width of your finish line in 3' increments. You can also see them in the first photo.

One dozen Mr. Chain crowd-control stanchions (seen in photo above), red, with 50' of plastic chain. Purchased for $420; asking $315 plus shipping. I will empty them of sand before they are sent to you! :-)

I have a couple of computers that I may also be putting up for sale but I am waiting to hear from a couple of family members that are interested in them.

Thank you!

An update on T265.
T265 will not work with EU tags ( I have tried) ( and it is not licensed for EU use).
I know Brian is looking at an alternative to the T265 but this depends on cooperation with vendors and time to do some programming. EU and the Rest of the World will need to be a little patient.

We have a pair of Motorola FX7400 that we are looking to sell for $400 each.  We have upgraded to FX9500s.  They come with POE power supply and shipping is included.  Email me if you are interested at county...@gmail.com
