Battery Packs/cells

I am looking to purchase portable power sources for my readers and timing boxes.  What are some recommendations for power sources?  I time our XC meets and some local road races.  Our XC meets have multiple races and I would need the power to last at least 5 hrs.  Thanks for the help

We have used one of these for nearly 2 years:

Our longest race a 20 x I mile lap race last around 4 hours, equipment hooked up is as follows:

• 1 FX9600 8port reader with fiebot mats (8 antenna) for start and lap counting with a laptop pc  & a 32" TV Screen to display laps completed.
• 
  
• 1 FX9600 8port reader with fiebot mats (6 antenna) for seperate finish and with laptop pc (we have a 10 mile option so this is fired up 50 mins after start

At the end of the day, from fully charged there is abount 50% remaining, which suggest that this https://uk.vtoman.com/products/jump1500-power-station?variant=45277011902773  might suffice. 

As the batteries will degrade over time, the larger capacity unit might be the better buy long term.

I have no experience of other brands but I would not hesitate in recommending VTOMAN - available directly but also via Amazon AliExpress etc

Another vote for the Vtoman power stations. We have six of them. I really like the FlashSpeed 1500s. They will power an arch and gear for a 5k with plenty to spare. 

We also use them for track meets with zero problems. The newer ones charge very quickly which is nice if you’re doing events on back to back days.

They just came out with a new version that is over 3000 watt hours. We plan to buy one for longer events and keep it in our timing van.

We have two Jackery 1000  packs. Will power laptops and readers for a day.
Jackery do have discount sales from time to time.

I’ve got a bit of a mix - I keep plenty separate and have no end of extension leads so there is potential to rejig in the event of any one sourcd failing:

Ecoflow Delta 3 1024Wh

• powers my inflatable arch for 5hrs+

Jackery Explorer 240 x2

• each powers a separate laptop and reader; second unit also powers a printer

Ryobi 4Ah drill battery in inverter x2

• each powers a race clock (tested as good for up to 4.25hrs each)

Powkey and SinKeu 99Wh power stations

• 3rd laptop and reader for kiosk
• kiosk sticker printer

Jackery Explorer 100x2

• runs a SumUp machine for late entries
• keeps phones charged
• second is a standy unit - good to have if needed for laptops, plugging in my ageing finish line GoPros if the batteries get below a certain point etc

All the above are recommended.
