Okay I am doing something wrong, but don't know what.

2 examples:: Both races are gun time, no chip start capture.

1) Ronald Gehl - 50K race - Bib #315
The run started at 7:30, Ronald started early at 6 am.

In the race screen I set his start time to 6 am. before the run started.

In the timing screen it says he started at 6 am.

However, his final time is 9:52:49 .  It should have an extra hour and a half because of the early start.

His splits in the timing screen are:
Split 1: 00:42:43
Split 2: 02:05:28
Split 3: 02:10:23
Split 4: 02:19:23
Finish: 02:34:50
Each one should have an extra hour and a half.

2) Christopher Bardwell - 24K - Bib # 405

I did not know Chris started early until he came through on his first lap and realized his time was way too fast so I caught him at the finish and asked him what happened.  He said he started early. 8 am start instead of the 9:15 am.

Set his start time in the race screen:

I did manual adjust his time by adding an hour and 15 minutes but was curious why the early start thing did not work.  Does it matter if I adjust after he finishes?

Chris' original splits:
Split 1:  55:34 - I changed it to 1:54:34
Finish: 1:35:19:75 - I changed it to 2:50:75

Thanks,
Rod

I always make a duplicate of the race and only put the early starters in that race and start the clock on go. Also, early starters get a medal, but do not qualify for awards. Same as drop downs.
