As we're getting ready to fire up XC season I am thinking about dipping my toes into providing split times for these races. My eyes are already crossing reading through a gazillion old posts.

Can someone provide me an easy step by step? Or point me to a previous post or video?

Same question for live results. Some races will be on athletic dot net. Some will be on Mo Mile. How are you handling live results (and are they really live?) Or just posted immediately. I know some races we competed in last year had real time live results that parents could pull up on their phones using a mo mile link. Is there a run sign up version?

Thanks everyone.

For XC I use ART to grab chip times and then they go to FinishLynx which then sends truly live results (maybe 5 second delay from initial read) to a.net. Yes, RaceDayScoring does have a live results as well in which you could use ART or Lynx data to populate there. It didn't seem as fast as compared to what I'm used to in FinishLynx but I'll also admit it was my first time going that route and I know I had some goofy things set up that maybe hindered me some.

I am looking to do live splits as well but cannot find a good way to do this remotely so for now I have two other operators coming in to set up at the 1, 2 mile marks and we will use AthleticLive to populate

Am very curious to hear others input on live splits!
