So timing a road race tomorrow and it is the first one of these of the spring. Mostly all track to this point. Went on laptop and opened ART and it wont connect to the reader. The laptop was used in the fall and has primarly been used for Track this season.

I did change some settings for networking laptops in track, so I need a refresher as to why I cannot connect to my reader if anyone can help me out real quick

thanks

If the laptop will be used with a FAT system (FinishLynx, FlashTiming, EagleEye, etc.) during track season and then with ART for XC or road races then it's probably best to have the RFID reader and laptop set up with a static IP address that is on the same 'subnet' as your track timing gear. This way you can use the laptop with either system without any problems.

If your laptop currently works with your track timing system, then we just need to get your RFID reader setup with a static IP address too. I can remote into your computer and help you do that real quick if you're available now.
