I am using 1.6.7.2 and find that the "Copy this Database" function is not working.

I am getting no file written to a USB memory stick or Desktop  or Documents.

Any thoughts?

I've been making small patches/improvements over the past couple of week. I just tested it on my computer and it worked just fine, but it does take a few seconds to complete if your database is large.

Since I've pushed out a couple of small patches silently, can you manually uninstall, get a fresh download of 1.6.7.2, and tell me if the problem remains when you try it on your computer. I can also give you a beta version of 1.6.7.3 if you want to try it out. It has improvements to how the clock time is displayed on the Public Display and improvements to how the Results Kiosk loads and scrolls through the results.

If you find it's still an issue then let me know and I'll log into your computer and watch it myself, but I've done it about 10 times today and it worked each time.

Uninstalled and re installed 1.6.7.2

Reopened ART and existing database loaded as expected.

Copy database worked once to a folder on USB memory stick which had a copy of the database.
No write to a new subfolder on the USB stick or to a folder on Drive C:

Strange!

At the moment the database copy only seems to work if there is an existing copy of the database in the destination folder.
The database copy does not seem to be creating a new file.

something very odd.
My desk laptop seems to have the file copy problem. Windows 10
Just moved files to the Timing laptop and file copy seems to work. Windows 10 as well.
I do note there is a generic RaceTiming.db file in a destination folder. I use a db name such as "RaceTiming InterestingRace.db"
I will investigate further ....
