New Conversation on Hu Tags rather than substitutes.

Hu Tags are passive RFID tags. Version 2 have Impinj Monza R6P chip. Range is FCC 8 meters horizontal - face on,  ETSI 6 meters –face on 4 meters vertical

They are enclosed in TPE plastic and are extremely durable.

On the other thread there was a comment that the HUtags were approx 3 euro a piece.
I just checked my invoice and to my door they are costing just over 6 euro a piece.

Worth every penny in my opinion ( for the XC 2 anyway) as far as I can tell but a sizeable outlay all the same if you wanted a stock of 500.
