Does anyone know what “com port” does ART uses to connect to the reader?

For USB readers you can leave that blank and it'll try to detect it, or set it to the com port the device connects as in device manager.

Generally you want the IP address, all the other readers us llrp and ip to connect.

Sorry, I meant the server port.
We are trying to develop a standalone backup to be used on ART.

LLRP uses port 5084 but two devices can’t connect to the reader at the same time.

That’s the real deal…
The system should work like:
A Raspberry connected to the reader saving all the reads then forwarding the reads to ART.
If for any reason the computer running ART loses the connection, the reads will continue being stored on the Raspberry.

That's interesting. I would imagine you have to save it in a format that ART software can read, but additionally I think it might require collaboration with Brian so the software can pick it up as a source since your raspberry will be connected to the reader.

Yes, it should save in the format of ART can read.
I hope Brian can help us out with that.

Let’s wait for him to comment here.
