to Agee Race Timing Users Group
Pulling out my ART stuff for the second time since cross country season. I tried to time a cross country style 2 mile earlier this season and ran into the same problem. It was no big deal on that day. I just pivoted to my finishlynx stuff.
But now I have road races coming up and I cannot get my Zebra FX9600 to load.
I enter the correct Reader Host Name: fx96006968a5, but get the following error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The line number that the message said the error came from (line 2781) is simply the software trying to open a connection to the database. So it makes me wonder if the database file (or the folder it's in) is locked down by some kind of virus protection that's being too aggressive, or the database file is residing somewhere that's not local to the computer. This is not something I've seen others reporting. So I would have to remote into the computer to find out what's going on - but I suspect that that may be difficult if the computer you're on is totally locked down.
You could try creating a brand new database file in a new location. Click on the "Create New Database" button in the Settings screen and select a folder and see if that works.
