Error when no internet

I first saw this on my back up tablet last night which is stand alone and not networked.

ART version is 1.6.7.3 30/06/2026

The error is thrown on ART opening.

Testing on my laptop with WiFi turned off the same error is thrown so it is not device specific
Pressing OK allows ART to run.

The same error is shown when ART closes.

Looks like when I restructured the method that checks for internet access I added a line of code to document if the check failed (which of course it does if there is no internet). I thought the "display message" property was off and it would simply write that message out to the error log file but it looks like it is on.

With the next update I'll have it where it doesn't document or display anything at all if there is no internet access. Thanks for letting me know about this.

I used the 7/16 version tonight and there was definitely still an error message popping up with no internet but I was rushing to get the race started and bringing starlink up so I didn't grab the error message. Will try to grab it next time I see it.

I realized the day after I pushed out the 1.6.7.4 update that I actually have two different methods that check for internet access. One of them is an asynchronous method and the other is synchronous, and I had only updated one of them to hide that 'error' message. I quickly pushed out a new 1.6.7.4 update. So if you don't have 1.6.7.4 then upgrading to it now will fix the issue. If you already have 1.6.7.4 then you can re-download it, manually uninstall ART, and reinstall it using the new download link. I had already started working on 1.6.7.5, so pushing out an updated 1.6.7.4 was the easiest solution.
