With the software the race has either started or it has not - stopping the clock simply involves closing the clock screen out. If you open the clock screen again the program will continue to show the elapsed time between the race's start date/time and the current date/time, however it does not continue to run in the background when you close the clock screen out - think of it like the light in your refrigerator.  So when the race is over, simply close the clock screen out.

If you practiced timing your event and need to reset the clock back to 00:00:00.000, press F2 to reset the clock.

Brian.. sorry that I have to revisit this again.. just to make sure that I get it. How do I tell teh system that race has ended. When you said mini the clock page... the whole page minimize... so at this point the system recognize that the race is stopped / and if i enter again after minimize, I can ignore the running clock and proceed to do my stuff liek publish results ?

christobelng,

You don't really stop or end the race.  When you close the Clock Screen the clock will no longer be shown but it will fire back up when you re-open the screen.  You can print results directly from the Clock Screen by hitting F11 (Overall Results) or F12 (Age Division Results).  You can also close the Clock Screen and print results from the "View Reports" button.  I have races from two years ago that still are active.  When I open their Clock Screen the program will calculate the current race time and show that on the clock.  :)  See the attached.
