Good afternoon,
I can't seem to locate a tutorial on setting up a camera to capture finishline photos. I have a DSLR. I have seen (somewhere info regarding a Canon brand) Will a Nikon work as well? Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a small friendly race tomorrow and hoping to test it out.
TIA!

In the "Prints & Camera Settings" tab you can find a list of compatible Canon models, I'll post a screenshot below. The software should work with most (if not all) Nikon models too. Simply hook it up to your laptop with an Ethernet cord (for Canon cameras, see "15-Feet USB Cable" listed at the bottom of this page), turn it on, and the software should automatically discover it and use it. If your camera has a "WiFi" option you might need to turn that off to enable USB remote control. Make sure the camera has a memory card in it of course. When you open the Timing screen the "Capture Photo" link in the "Action Keys" tab will be enabled if the software sees the camera and will trigger it to take a photo when a time is captured. :)
