This weekend I had a 24 hour race that was 1/2 mile loops. Most laps wins  I set the splits at 400 with split gap at about 2 minutes.

Race went great however there was a bib #587 that kept reading, thank goodness it was unassigned and just showed 587 -   I searched all night for the chip - but throughout the night it was reading and taking pics - I eventually did the find the bugger

I was hoping to have a way to ignore a chip - I tried assigning that bib and DQing it but still showed up.   I know this isn't a big thing unless it's a race like mine - but is there a way to ignore a chip somehow?

Joe it might be a workaround, but if you duplicated the race (minus any participants on the duplicate) and right after the start of the races together, you end the duplicate race. Then as people drop from the most laps events (tap out) move them to the duplicate race.

I think their chip stops reading in once you move them over. In this case, you might would just go to the duplicate race and add the bib as finished there. I think that would work. We do a 12 hour most laps event and that is how we manage the people who finish and or drop out.
