What does age need to replace gpg in the unix pass?

I've replaced $GPG with $AGE, and it seems to work.

The only shortcuts I had to do is the keyring: this MVP uses a hardcoded .keyring.age.txt - but this keyring is totally unprotected.

So, how could we protect the keyring?

The ssh-agent cannot encrypt, just sign.

Any ideas?
