A discussion ‘joys of our practice’ started on March 3rd and ended 10th March focusing on best experience of members practice as a gender & development evaluation practitioner. This could be an evaluation conducted where one made great use of his/her gender & development evaluation skills, or a paper given where one thought he/she made a great contribution to the subject or  developed indicators or any thing that made one feel really good about being a gender & development evaluation practitioner.   The post was viewed twice but received no response posts.

On 3rd March 2013 AGDEN COP Steward 1 reminded members that ‘The AGDEN RAP COP’ virtual community of research was being reactivated and starting a discussion list. She invited members to join by sending and email of introduction by giving name, country of current domicile and reason for wanting to join. 3 posts received 11 views in the week since March 3rd.

 

Members were reminded that the deadline for nomination of new members to the IDEAS Board is 13 March 2013 and that the nomination form was available in the Members section of the website, under "Election News".

Awny Amer requested AGDEN members who are IDEAS members to vote for him promising to promote the linkages & network between AGDEN and their members & IDEAS.

 

Overall, the group received 10 posts with 22 views.

Discussion: “les joies de notre pratique”

Une discussion portant sur les meilleures experiences des membres en tant que praticiens du genre et de l’évaluation du développement a été entamée le 3 mars et a pris fin le 10 mars 2013. Ces experiences couvrent l’utilisation de capacités en genre et évaluation du développement dans le cadre de la conduite d’évaluations, l’élaboration de papier dans lequel une forte contribution a été faite relativement au sujet de discussion , le développement d’indicateurs ou tout évènement qui a marqué les membres quant au genre et à l’évaluation du developpement. L’annonce a été consultée 2 fois mais n’a pas reçu de message de feedback.

 

Autres messages.

Le 3 mars, l’administrateur 1 de la communauté de pratique de AGDEN a rappelé les membres que la communauté de recherche virtuelle de AGDEN est en train d’être réactivée et qu’une discussion a été entreprise. Elle a invité les uns et les autres à se présenter en mentionnant leurs noms, le pays de residence actuel et le motif qui a motivé leur choix d’adhérer à la communauté.

 

3 messages ont été reçus et l’annonce a été consultée 11 fois depuis le 3 mars.

En outre, un rappel a été fait concernant la nomination de nouveaux membres au conseil d’administration de IDEAS prévue pour se tenir le 13 mars 2013. Le formulaire de nomination était disponible sur le site web de IDEAS notamment au niveau de la section membres à travers la page “nouvelles des élections”.

Awny Amer a demandé aux menbres de AGDEN qui sont aussi membres de IDEAS de voter pour lui, et a promis de travailler à promouvoir les relations entre AGDEN et ses members et IDEAS.

 

Au total, le groupe a reçu 10 posts et a été consulté 22 fois.

Salut Alain!

Je suis Bintou Nimaga, une ancienne nouvelle membre de AGDEN. Je me suis effectivement inscrite à IDEAS membership et je suis retenu dépuis plus d'une semaine déjà. Mais je n'arrive à accéder à l'administrateur pour payer les frais d'adhésion. Pouriez vous m'aider pour cela.

Could we start the final lap of this discussion thread -Our practice- with the topic: 'The pain/s of our practice' today/tomorrow to last for the the rest of the week? We need Kinda to translate the post. Since it is going to be the last post  this discussion thread we can also restate the other/earlier discussion topics so that those who may have missed sending in their opinions might do so now.

What do you think?

I am sorry I have been out of the loop -been traveling in hard to get 'signal' situations.
