Job Specification: Progress Reporting Specialist
Key Responsibilities:

1. Progress Reporting Preparation:

- Compile and analyze project data to prepare comprehensive progress reports in accordance with RTC requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of key accomplishments, milestones achieved, and tasks completed during the reporting period.

2. Task Status Updates:
- Provide detailed updates on the status of all tasks accomplished during the reporting period,highlighting any deviations or delays from the project plan.
- Clearly articulate the work planned for the following reporting period, outlining upcoming
milestones and deliverables.

3. Budget Management and Reporting:
- Prepare budget reports for each task, detailing the approved budget, amount spent to date,amount spent during the reporting period, estimated cost to complete, percentage of work completed, and anticipated completion date.
- Ensure alignment between budget expenditures and project progress, identifying any budget variances and providing explanations as needed.

4. Issue Identification and Resolution:
- Identify and document any issues encountered during project execution, including
challenges, risks, and constraints.
- Propose potential solutions or mitigation strategies to address identified issues, collaborating with project stakeholders as necessary.

5. Monthly Invoicing:
- Generate and submit monthly invoices to RTC for services rendered, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to track invoicing status and resolve any
billing discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in progress reporting and budget management for complex projects,
preferably in the transportation or infrastructure sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively synthesize and present complex data.
- Proficiency in project management software tools and applications, including Microsoft Excel and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in invoice preparation and billing processes preferred.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and reporting best practices.
