Dear Friends,
I wanted to share this exciting opportunity for qualified Masters or PhD level researchers and hope you might send through your networks to interested folks. Full job description attached.
The Population Council is looking for a strong analytic researcher with experience analyzing socio-demographic and healthcare data to participate on multiple research projects within the Reproductive Health Program. Primarily, this Program Officer III (Quantitative Researcher) will conduct analysis and produce scientific reports on health care financing, access and utilization of maternal health care services, contraceptive use and quality of care. With his or her strong analytic skills, the Program Officer III (Quantitative Researcher) will take a lead role in conducting analysis and write-up of results from the longitudinal study of health facility user fee removals over multiple rounds of national survey data. The successful applicant must have a superior quantitative training in statistics, demography, or similar area and will be data-driven with a keen interest to address gaps in the relevant literature. Although PhD preferred, strong candidates with a Masters level degree, superior experience and publications are also encouraged to apply.
