A short note to say that Chad's national backbone network has been updated on https://afterfibre.nsrc.org/ with more information on an extended network being financed by the World Bank's Central Africa Backbone project.
Also, you may be interested to have a look https://www.internetspeedinafrica.org/ where a Swiss masters' student, Damien Heritier, has taken the data from AfTerFibre and made his own mash-up of it together with Akamai Internet speed data.
