The Sonos Move 2 brings many upgrades over its predecessor, such as stereo sound instead of mono, new capacitive touch controls, and a bigger 44Wh battery. However, that all comes with a higher price tag as well.
QTGMC( Preset="faster", FPSDivisor=2)
Deinterlace using the QTGMC script. Leave this line out completely if your footage is progressive. There are lots of options that you can use with QTGMC but the preset used selects sensible settings for a given encoding speed. The available presets are placebo, very slow, slower, slow, medium, fast, faster, very fast, super fast, ultra fast and draft. The script's default preset is medium, which is good for a standard definition render. For HD, I recommend using faster, very fast or super fast, although you might use medium for a "no compromise" render. Other QTGMC options are very well documented in the QTGMC-3.32.html file in your AviSynth plugins folder. Further reading on the QTGMC thread at Doom9. Leave that line out completely if your footage is already progressive.
IMO, M233 is rubbish just relabeled as new product but virtually the same. The remote still the same kind of responsiveness, and I heard many stories the Wifi built-in does not connect property. So you might as well go for the cheaper model. BTW, it only supports 2.4GHz Wireless.
The slots for the TF card and USB stick are easily seen on the back, as well as being shown on the manual. What I meant is that I cannot see them shown on the screen. There was no mention of what they are being used for.
I just have a jump around different channels. Although there is not one channel solely for TVB there are TVB channels scattered all over the place. I am not familiar with TVB channels but I can see in the HITV channel there is one TVB news channel, ( I recognise the TVB logo ) as well as some other Hong Kong channels. Also BBC, CNN, Discovery, National Geographic etc can be found there.
Are you all using a hard wired ethernet connection or powerline adapters for your TVPAD? I'm using a Western Digital Live Wire setup and the whole experience is less than perfect. One minute its flawless and streams well without buffering or stuttering, this can be for 2-3 hours but then all of a sudden it goes to shit and no amount of restarting the TVPAD, restarting the router or restarting the powerline adapters will fix it. When it gets to that point we give up and hope for the best tomorrow night.....
I'm at a loss to pinpoint the problem here. Pretty sure it's not my router or internet as I'm connecting at 8.5MB consistantly. It's a Netcomm NB6PLUS4W. Is this normal for the TVPAD to behave like this, I mean are they prone to this type of behavior or do your's all perform well all of the time without the above issues?
Wireless operation on these things is crap as well, in fact don't bother trying to use your wireless network at home as you will get constant buffering and really choppy playback. I tried and after about a week coughed up for a sparkie to come and run an ethernet cable from my router in the kitchen, through the roof and out through an outlet in the loungeroom. So the TV Pad at my joint is using ethernet, since then it's smooth as and never skips a beat.
I'm using the TVPad4 right now , and so far it's been great . First time I've bought one of these boxes after heaps of researching and gathering opinions (was about to get the TVPad3) , still have a lot of exploring to do interface wise, but main things such as Streaming quality and PQ are exceptional , and that's on a Wi-Fi connection as well . I do have a ethernet cable readily available if needed, but right now , connection is smooth and Zero buffer, for streaming , getting about 700-800Kb .
That was what I was fearing... I just bought a CH/HK version but wasn't sure whether you could also watch Japanese and Korean channels as well. It's gonna suck if you're going to have to buy a separate JP/KR TVpad to be able access it.
I recently purchased this for my parents and was testing it at my place before giving it to them. I can't read chinese but all of the live TV don't seem to work well. 1 frame pause, 2 frames pause.... If I hit OK on the remote, it shows that I'm getting between 300-400KB/s yet the image isn't streaming.
