I have a department who uses 4 Destops with cisco Jabber Version 12.6.1.34405 Build 284405 running, The issue is the users for this 4 station department is 8. So each user moves around signing in to Windows LDAP sync , then Jabber loads automatically since they login already once. We have a user who seems to have a corroupt Jabber profile now. The device never registers for her login but somone else Jabber profile is running. How is this issue resolved ? Do I delete IM Presence user profile, or do I delete the Jabber profile in CM and recreate it ?

Make sure the user's Jabber is correctly configured in CUCM.
Make sure the user is not assigned another user's Jabber device under Enduser Management in CUCM.

Reset the user's Jabber client and clear the cache for Jabber in Windows, then have her log back in.

Thank you for this update , this was the 101 of what we always do with this issue. I did forget to inform the group has a shared extension on their jabber device and in the user page the line is selected as primary with the IPCC ext selected. Would this cause a conflict having a shared exten on all user / agents ?

I have this strange issue with jabber for windows 10.5. So if you log into a pc with your microsoft active directory domain account and try to log into jabber with the same user credentials, you can log-in fine. However, if you try to log into another jabber account that is different from the AD account that you are logged into the pc with, you will not be able to log into jabber. You will just get an error from jabber that says that your credentials are incorrect. I actually deleted the jabber folders in the local and roming data folders, thinking that maybe it was caching the password but even that did not help.

If you uninstall Jabber and reinstall using the UPN_DISCOVERY_ENABLED=false switch, you can login to Jabber with an LDAP account other than the one you are currently logged into the PC with.

I've also experienced this. If you are logged in as a local user on the computer you can switch to any other Jabber user, but if you are logged into your computer with a domain/AD account you cannot login as a different user, only the domain user that is signed into the computer can login to Jabber. Does anybody know of a workaround or fix? Is this a setting that can be changed?

Recently we implemented SSL Decryption and everything in the webex environment worked fine for the Webex connect client but people using the jabber client cannot send or receive images over IM. I have started a case with Cisco on this, however, their documentation leads me to believe images used to be sent insecurely in the old client and securely in the new client.

I opened a ticket with Cisco on this one. Seems to me that if file transfer works and desktop sharing and chat all work, then image transfer should work and that would be on their end, hopefully. Maybe that functionality isn't using the windows certificate repository and that is the issue.
