Requisition #018735239 - Staff Physician, Expatriate Health Services
The Staff Physician, Expatriate Health Services, is a new position within Health and Medical.  This physician will work with a team of Global Health and Medical professionals, as well as internal business units that support expatriate health services at Chevron.  This employee position will consult with operating companies and employees to influence around expatriate health services and the impact that workforce health has on safety and business performance.  The successful candidate in this job will also provide direct hands-on and direct clinical expatriate health and occupational health services to client business units in North and South America.

Position Details : Required Qualifications:
• Valid U.S. medical degree as a MD or DO.
• Maintains a current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
• Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• International travel may be required from time to time due to conferences or business planning meetings, so the ability to travel outside of the US is required.
• Minimum two years related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Residency training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
• 2-5 years occupational health experience, preferably with clinical experience in the manufacturing or energy sector.
• Experience supervising employees.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other functions, departments and business units.


The 9/80 compressed work schedule is available for this position, if desired.
