It’s not true if the radio doesn’t say it.

This was the comment in a letter from an African farmer. Radio is still highly regarded as one of the best communication tools for reaching the rural poor, particularly in Africa. The question we have to ask ourselves is how do we connect better through this medium?

AV radio and is unique in a sense that it can also be accessed and listened to on the phone or Skype. This is particularly useful because cell phones are ubiquitous in Africa and is currently the most reliable access to digital life. Please join our discussion weekly on African Views Radio.
