The Global South Dialogue on Economic Crime (GSDEC) invites submissions for the December 2025 issue of the Financial Regulation International (FRI) publication.

The theme is: "From Secrecy to Transparency: Current Trends and Regulatory Responses to Beneficial Ownership in the Global South.

Submissions are welcome from Practitioners, finance professionals, and academics to share their perspectives on current legislation and reforms in financial regulation within the Global South.

The Global South Dialogue on Economic Crime invites submissions for the December 2025 issue of Financial Regulation International (FRI).

FRI is a practitioner-focused publication that features commentary and analysis on international and domestic financial regulation, financial services, and related legal and policy developments. FRI provides expert insights into ongoing regulatory reforms and their implications for practice. It publishes contributions from lawyers, finance professionals, and academics working across jurisdictions, and is also available through  ‘i-law’ Informa business intelligence database of commercial law knowledge.  FRI is edited by Professor Dalvinder Dalvinder of Warwick University. Together with GSDEC, FRI invites submissions for this Special Issue.

Theme: "From Secrecy to Transparency: Current Trends and Regulatory Responses to Beneficial Ownership in the Global South.

Submissions may include:
  • Opinion-style articles on recent news or regulatory developments (750–1,250 words)
  • Feature articles analysing emerging trends or regulatory changes (2,000–3,000 words)
  • Case reports discussing recent judgments (1,500–2,000 words)
  • In-depth academic papers on relevant topics (3,000–7,000 words)

Note:
Submissions are not limited to academic writings or economic crime-specific themes. Short pieces are encouraged. Practitioners, finance professionals, and academics are invited to share their perspectives on current legislation and reforms in financial regulation within the Global South.

Contributors will receive a PDF of the issue containing their article upon publication.
