Friends, I am inviting you to an exciting 60 mins discussion that will be worth your time, I promise.

Date: 23 April
Time: 2-3pm (East Africa time)
Venue: Online

We're bringing together a powerhouse panel of experts:
Nara F. Monkam Alex Cobham Lurit Yugusuk and Piotr Wiezel, to dissect what the 'The UN Tax Convention' as A New Path for Global Tax Fairness should take into consideration. Moderated by CFS' finest Polycarp Okumu this discussion promises to be an exploration of what a truly inclusive and equitable global tax regime could look like.

This discussion is important because (1) the long-overdue call for a fair and inclusive international tax system is finally gaining momentum and (2) for too long, the rules of the game have been rigged, with the "whiteness" of tax design perpetuating the legacy of colonialism. But times are changing, and this event dares to confront the elephant in the room – the glaring absence of diverse voices and perspectives in shaping the tax policies that affect us all.

So buckle up, folks, because this will not just be another mundane tax talk.
