Trusting that this email finds you well. As you may be aware, Econews Africa undertook a study on the proposed Kenya-United States Free Trade Agreement in January. We have been invited by the Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Trade, Industrialization and Enterprise Development to make a presentation of our findings this afternoon starting from 2.00 pm.

 

Attached please find a write-up of the document containing some of the key issues we are going to be presenting this afternoon by the consultant who was hired to undertake the work Prof. Uche Ofodile. We shall organize a separate presentation for civil society, trade unions and other stakeholders in the near future.
