We're expanding our horizons a bit in terms of technologies and have
invited Maarten Lambrechts from Belgium to share his experience with a
variety of tools for making maps.

Maarten Lambrechts is a freelance data visualisation consultant based in
Belgium. He helps people and organisations communicate their numbers by
making charts and maps, both static and interactive ones. He gives training
on data visualisation, designs and develops visualisations and as a data
journalist, he tells stories based on data. You can find him on Twitter as
