Rainfall data underpins decisions across climate services, agriculture, water management and disaster risk reduction, but evidence on how different rainfall datasets perform across Africa remains fragmented.

RainCheck Africa brings this evidence together through a systematic review of 72 peer-reviewed validation studies, 1,749 performance observations, 148 locations and 154 rainfall products and variants.

Join us for an online webinar where we’ll explore the key findings, introduce a new interactive dashboard for exploring rainfall product performance, and discuss what the evidence means for practitioners across Africa.
