Usually, a felon is despicable to me irrespective of race, religion, or ethnicity; the felon is more despicable to me if he/she is Igbo -- because he/she stains my ancestry. I am calling out the ethnic make up of these criminal Nigerians on this list because some Yoruba Nigerians usually accuse Igbo of being the most criminally convicted Nigerians all over the world, even though facts say that Yoruba is the most criminally minded and convicted Nigerians. Yorubas began armed robbery, credit card/419 fraud, looting of public funds by civil servants and contractors, and drug dealing but some Igbos followed them into these crimes but only to conduct theirs with noise making and showmanship, which give the false impression that most Nigerian criminals are of Igbo extraction. I have known this actual situation for a long time but I never wanted to dignify criminals by ascribing their criminality to their ethnic group, except now, just to clear the incessant and shameful lies told by Yoruba Nigerians and their supporters in Igbophobia.

South African blacks killed some Nigerians (Igbos and Yoruba), they chased away all Nigerians irrespective of ethnic group -- as a matter of fact, they get offended when some Yoruba tell them (on social media) that Igbos are the problem; they respond that they don't care who is Igbo or Yoruba, all they want is that Nigerians get out of their country. Shockingly, when you listen to some Yoruba Nigerians, you will think that only Igbos are being chased out of South Africa. What is it about Yoruba people that keeps them fixated on Igbo and making excuses for any failings of theirs by throwing Igbo under the bus? It is on instances like this type that I wish Igbo's separation from Nigeria, so that the world would see who would disgrace itself by being a failed state between Igbo and Yoruba.

Of the 124 criminally convicted Nigerians slated for deportation from the US, Yoruba accounts for 62; Igbo accounts for 29; Edo has 15; Ijaw has 5 (Ijaw's number might be smaller if the two or three with oyibo first and last names that I ascribed to them belong to Yoruba or Ibibio -- the two other ethnic groups that bear oyibo first and last names); Urhobo/Itsekiri contributed 2 criminals; Ibibio/Efik also contributed 2; Hausa/Fulani/North Central folks combined for 9 convicted deportable criminals.

The next time that an idiotic Yoruba tribalist tells you that Igbos are spoiling Nigeria's name with criminality abroad, ask the idiot for evidence or exhort him/her against projecting Yoruba's Achilles' heels on Igbo.
