The same business gap and restriction that exists between US and Canada today or between Ghana and Nigeria would emerge if the breakup was allowed . Small countries also have small markets; except their industrial output is world class your next door neighbour which hitherto is forced to buy your product because you share same country may be forced to look elsewhere . Above all, my present constituency doesn't have enough funds as we speak to finance running a new country from the present Nigeria
I would support your line of reasoning if you can point to any particular part of Nigeria
that is so well managed today to an extent that if it's carved out from the rest,as a separate country, it would record a remarkable success within a few years. Do you think others are the causes of your problems ?
From my little understanding of this country, there is no problem you see in the northerners that is not in with the easterners  or westerners or vice versa. IF THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM OF GREED, CORRUPTION AND INDISCIPLINE IS NOT WELL ADDRESSED,NO PART OF NIGERIA WILL ACHIEVED THE INTENDED OBJECTIVES EVEN IF THE COUNTRY WAS DIVIDED INTO 1,000 COUNTRIES .

Mr Imperial, I am not trying to take the side of Chris Udoh-Clitoris, I just love to brainstorm.

Why do you think if Nigeria is divided into new countries, people of the new countries would stopped trading or interact with each other across the borders?
Nigerians live in Cameroun, Ghana, USA and Europe, these places are independent of each other. So why can't new countries from old Nigeria stay friendly?

I am really surprised that you feel so passionately about your Nigeria.
Is the rot of Nigeria not enough for even God fearing and loving people to throw up their hands in frustration?

Can you share with me why you think a country that keeps moving down and disastrously closer to war, should not be split?

people have also cried out that Goodluck Jonathan doesn't represent their interest because the level of poverty in the region has not reduced in spite of the fact that their man ran this country for over 5 years . Those who always agitate for the breakup of the country are the greedy parasitic cabals who benefit immensely from the present inequality in the system at the expense of the masses.
I agree that for the country to move forward there must be a unity of purpose which can only be achieved through cooperation by all and sundry especially those who are responsible for the formulation policies for the state. Have you heard of any gathering of the Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo,Fulani ,Ijaw etc people where it was agreed that the entire ethnic group is opposed to the developed of the country ? The fate of the entire country is in the hands of a relatively few people who direct the affairs of our country. But when self centredness, greed, corruption and indiscipline override the collective interest on the part of the policy makers , the idea of " unity of purpose" or goal congruence would be defeated even if Owu Kindgom in Abeokuta, Ogun State was made a country on its own. Nigeria is not as ethnically diverse as India, China, Brazil and even the United States but we continue to overstate our differences instead of emphasizing the beauty in diversity because of our parochial interests. A state called Utter Pradesh in India is more populous and more diverse than Nigeria, I think we should face the real issue instead of engaging ourselves in shadow boxing .

Imperial, you are misleading yourself with your belief in some statements you made below.
Those who agitate for Separate but Equal Nations, mostly are not asking for such because, as stated by you "assume that there is absolute unity within their ethnic groups ".
By assuming that secessionists mostly want their nations because of "absolute unity", makes one think you must believe those people are naive.

I tell you my brother, it is not "absolute unity" people seek when they decide they had enough of Nigeria. What they seek is "unity of purpose" which Nigerian leaders never portrayed and never utilized to the benefit of Nigeria.
People want progress, and since our cultural differences have highlighted our uneven concerns, uneven cultural beliefs, uneven moral values, most people decide to have a do-over while doing away with a country that has failed to work.

Imperial, you cannot be serious to think that those who seek progress by other means and conclude that Nigeria needs to be divided into workable parts, these people are agitating to have a nation of their own that will have "absolute unity".
Nigeria is an experiment that keeps failing to invent its own way to Qualitative and Progressive developments.
If the agitators are so naive, they won't seek alternative to Nigeria.

Naïveté is when one keeps hoping, while doing the same thing the same way always and over a period of centuries, with the expectation that one day Nigeria shall be or is already the giant of Africa.

May 29th is yet to arrive, some of you politically naive Yoruba are giddy up, as if the inauguration of Buhari will immediately turn the tides for Nigeria and Nigerians.
Let me tell you something, Mr Imperial, Buhari as of now represents Northern interests, while Asiwaju Tinubu represents the SW interests.
It is how they decide to organize the fragile government that may eventually aid in bringing economic and social progress to Nigeria.
Buhari cannot do it alone.

There's no "absolute unity" anywhere and no separatist movement would operate believing in such naïveté.
What we all seek be it Nigeria nationalists or Separatists, is to have a progressive nation with cultural, moral values that condition or motivate the people to become loyal to their nation. We all seek a nation with "absolute unity of purpose" in developing and creating opportunities, to provide adequate social amenities and provide security for its people.
Any nation without the above, like Nigeria, cannot be a real nation.
And since Nigeria is a failed state, people have no choice but to seek higher grounds ie. Split up the unworkable country.

Imperial, as a businessman you should know that Coporations split up all the time, not for "absolute unity", but to shed dead weights and to bring success quicker.

Some people always wrongly assume that there is absolute unity within their ethnic groups but I always tell them that they are parochial in reasoning because they do misinterpret common enemies in other groups as unity within their groups; once they get rid of the other ethnic groups, their intra ethnic civil conflicts would commence within months. A hotel restaurant in Anambra, Nigeria has been shuttered by authorities for serving human flesh. According to the BBC, suspicious residents told police of rumors that the restaurant was cooking human meat for customers. Police then raided the restaurant, where they discovered fresh human heads that were still bleeding. The blood was in the process of being drained into a plastic bag.
In addition to the illegal meat, authorities discovered automatic weapons, grenades, and cell phones. Ten people were arrested in conjunction with the crimes. One resident said, "Every time I went to the market, I observed strange activities going on in the hotel. People who were never cleanly dressed and who looked a bit strange made their way in and out of the hotel, making me very suspicious of their activities. I am not surprised at the shocking revelation."
A priest who ate at the restaurant was alarmed when presented with a bill of 700 Naira, or roughly $3.50 (Tens of millions of people in Nigeria subsist on less than $1 a day). "The attendant noticed my reaction and told me it was the small piece of meat I had eaten that made the bill scale that high," he said. "I did not know I had been served with human meat, and that it was that expensive."
Last year, Australian chef Marcus Volke murdered and cooked his girlfriend before killing himself. In Brazil, also last year, a man and two women were arrested for murdering potential nanny candidates and then cooking their flesh into empanadas.

Now, Read these SHAMED motherfuckers, who invested their money establishing those restaurants, defending the indefensible:

Mazi Gregg Ukaegbu,

What Ayo Ojutalayo and the bastard, coward ghost writer Jerome who hail Psycho Osuji did not realize is that his cannibalism gibberish hurts the image of Nigeria and not ndi-Igbo alone. In fact, what registers in the mind of any foreigner that reads Osuji's cannibalism story is that Nigerians are Cannibals including the Yoruba. Honestly, I say this because of an incidence of cannibalism that was reported few years ago about either Indonesia or Thailand on these forums. Those that read or saw the whole event starting from the killing of a black man and sacrificing parts of his body to their God by a priest and to the actual cooking and feasting that ensured. What registered in my mind and hopefully to all and sundry that saw it, is the country and not the region in the country where the animal-like behavior and heinous crime was comitted.

It behooves on Nigerians across ethnic nationalities to be worried about the damage Osuji is doing to the image of the country. Therefore, I would think that the Nigerian Government should take this allegation of cannibalism against ndi-Igbo very serious to determine the veracity of the incidence. And, I believe a thorough investigation of this issue is imperative and to some extent would require testifying in the court of law in Nigeria to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt. Honestly the seriousness of this case would require Osuji to be summoned to testify, reveal and provide the source of his story. However, since it doesn't seem as if the moron can afford a two way ticket to ground zero and back, I would recommend that the forumites should be ready to contribute for his plane ticket and meal for the duration he would be there in Nigeria. This type of benevolence of getting Osuji home which he left more than forty years ago could be the cure for his madness. Biko, lotakwa na ndi-Igbo n'asi, onye aghala nwanneya. Ndewo.

Thank you for telling Imperial not to underestimate the current wind that is blowing in Nigeria. The person that is writing this to you is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria for more than 10 years. I run my businesses.

When it is time to go, business interests will not deter us because someone can own and run businesses in foreign lands. In any case, you should be more worried if the clamour for Oodua Republic or Biafra is being championed by the poor. It is even more dangerous if Biafra or Oodua Republic is the song of the dregs, the masses. Christians Mimic Islamists in Attacks on Nigerian Culture

Samuel Nwankwo drove past a mob in the southeastern Nigerian town of Umuoji unaware that it was heading to attack his home.

As the chief priest of a traditional religion in the area, he’d become a target of a crowd of Christian youths who left a revival meeting where several preachers condemned the veneration of ancestral gods. They were bent on eradicating all symbols of such worship in the town of about 30,000 people.

“They ransacked the Udume Abor shrine where we worshiped, then went to my house where they took religious objects and burned them,” Nwankwo, a 45-year-old former Christian pastor, said in an interview. “The entire house would have burned if neighbors didn’t put out the fire.”

While Islamist militants loyal to Boko Haram in northern Nigeria and Islamic State in Syria destroy cultural sites they consider idolatrous, some Christian activists in the south of Africa’s most populous nation are also targeting ancestral religious worship. So far no one has been injured in the raids.

More than 500 traditional-worship sites, mainly in the south, have been burned down in the past decade, along with artifacts that are often hundreds of years old and of historical significance, according to Emeka Uzoatu, a researcher affiliated to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in the south east.

Explosive Divisions

Religious and ethnic divisions can be explosive in Nigeria, where more than 20,000 people have died in communal and sectarian violence in the past 15 years, according to tallies kept by Brussels-based International Crisis Group.

Nigeria, home to Africa’s biggest economy and at least 250 ethnic groups, is almost evenly split between a mainly Muslim north and a predominantly Christian south. More than 10 percent of its 170 million people follow traditional religions in Africa’s top oil producer, with many maintaining allegiance to more than one faith.

Attacks aimed at destroying cultural heritage around the world have reached an “unprecedented scale,” according to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or Unesco.

Paris-based Unesco started a Unite4Heritage movement this year to counter the drive for “cultural cleansing” by religious extremists such as Islamic State in Syria. Boko Haram, which has declared loyalty to Islamic State, looted and burned the Sukur world heritage site in Adamawa state in December.

‘War Crime’

“The deliberate destruction of heritage is a war crime,” Unesco quoted its director-general, Irina Bokova, as saying in an e-mailed response to questions. “We will do everything possible to fight against this and document it, to ensure that those responsible are identified and brought to justice.”

In Nigeria, looted items are often illegally trafficked to Europe and the U.S. where they’re bought by art collectors, according to the Abuja-based National Commission for Museums and Monuments. The agency, set up to protect Nigeria’s cultural heritage, estimates the country’s artifacts in circulation in the global market are worth about 310 billion naira ($1.6 billion).

The Archaeological Association of Nigeria estimates that people have been persuaded by pastors and churches to hand over ancestral objects worth at least $500 million in the past decade to prove they no longer practice traditional worship.

“When I was growing up the Christians were a tiny minority and traditionalists were the vast majority,” said Nze Oforkire Ezenwa, a 63-year-old former Catholic who reverted to his ancestral religious practices 15 years ago and became a local leader. “Now we have changed places; it’s the other way around.”

Criminal Prosecution

Since 2008 Ezenwa has been pursuing the criminal prosecution of three Catholic priests and several congregation members for their alleged involvement in burning and destroying the Ezekoro shrine in the town of Achina, 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of the Anambra state capital, Awka.

The attack was preceded by a three-day revival meeting, with the destruction taking place on the final day.

“They destroyed very precious artifacts that were hundreds of years old, and looted many others,” Ezenwa said in an interview at his home in Achina, which was decorated with traditional motifs and carvings. “Their next target was my house, as I was singled out in their preaching as the main leader of demon worshipers. By then our people had mobilized to stop them.”

Cultural Evidence

Charges filed against the accused priests and six laymen at a court in nearby Ekwulobia town include destruction of a place of worship, stealing and violent disturbance, according to court documents obtained by Bloomberg.

The Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria in the capital, Abuja, didn’t respond to phone calls, e-mails and an office visit to Christian Anyanwu, a priest and spokesman of the church.

“There are those cases where mobs, often after a night of a religious-revival meeting, charge to a local shrine to destroy it,” Uzoatu, the university researcher, said in an interview in the southeastern city of Onitsha. “There are also those cases where individuals voluntarily destroy shrines and artifacts they inherited from their ancestors. The result is always the same, vital cultural evidence is lost.”

The government needs to fund an educational campaign against the destruction of cultural artifacts, Joseph Mangut, secretary of the Archaeological Association of Nigeria, said in a phone interview.

“The citizens need to know and be educated on the fact that we would never know where we are going to if we do not know where we came from,” he said.

But Osuji as usual wants to play his harp to the Nigerian internet audience repeating as he always does, Ndi Igbo are awful.  I have repeated many times.  Call Osuji a madman all you want, he is stripping Ndi Igbo of their humanity to make it easier for other Nigerians to kill them without remorse.

Go into his piece below to see his attack on Igbo culture based on unverified story about cannibalism.  Igbo culture does condone cannibalism.  The only Ndi Igbo who are known to have eaten human meat in Igbo history are Thomas Osuji’s people.  It is common knowledge in Igbo land even up to this day.

Do you know which tribe in Nigeria is the lead in cyber crimes.  Of course, you also know which tribe in Nigeria is lead on ritualistic killings and cannibalism.  Do you remember a story that came through this space 2 years ago, where the Nigerian Police discovered a forest filled dead and dying human beings all shackled, mutiliated, bodies carved up as their meat were removed to be eaten by people who devilishly believed that eating human flesh will make leap over mountains.  I will not mention the tribe but it is not Igbo.  Do you remember pictures of young boys from a certain part of Nigeria carving up and cutting up human body parts on video?  It was not in Igboland.  How many times have we seen people selling authentic dried up human body parts in Nigeria?  None of them is Igbo.  People travelling with severed heads? Dead children in suitcases? Etc.  In none of those instances was an Onye Igbo implicated.

Thomas Osuji knows it but does not care.  Thomas Osuji is about nothing else but the extermination of Ndi Igbo as a people.  Ndi Igbo have no greater enemy in this world than Thomas Ozodi Osuji.  You guys keep dismissing him as an Onye Iberibe, but he is hurting Ndi Igbo big time.   Keep your eyes open is all I’m saying.   You guys are extremely intelligent and need not be reminded about the power of propanganda.  And remember propaganda does not have to be true.

I read this stuff yesterday at BBC and shook my head (I actually forwarded it to niajaobserver).  I am guessing that some folks will defend what the restaurant did; they would tell us that the owner is poor and figured that the only way he could make money is to serve his fellow Igbos flesh as meat.
I have said it before and will say it again: Igbos are becoming degenerate at an alarming rate. They do the incredible and yet they come to the public square and claim to be civilized and superior folk. They kidnap their brethren and hold them hostage for ransom money, what a human being should not do but they do it and some Igbo fools come to the public square to make excuses for them by saying that they did it because they are poor (why not die instead of do such a horrible thing). Igbo young fellows carry drugs to all over the place, including Asia to go make quick bucks. They do not think about the fact that they are making dirty money, giving people poison to get hooked on and die from. All that matters to these degenerate folks is making money.
They engage in all sorts of criminal activities (419 advance fee scams, bank loan scams, credit card scams), you name it and Igbos are in the thick of it.
I shake my head in disgust and ask where Igbos came from, from planet Mars or something. I must say that I am ashamed to be an Igbo.
Igbo culture is pathological and needs regeneration, total change so that people are taught to serve people instead of use them for money or now eat them.
These people are becoming too degenerate and make me vomit; they bring shame to Nigerians and Africans. May be we should ship them all to Mars or something, just get rid of them from my sight; they make me puke.

Subject: NigerianID | Only in Anambra: Nigerian Restaurant Shut Down for Serving Human Flesh

Source: BBC, Eat.com

Very sad.
In the 60's, I recall how we were asked (coerced) by catholic church to bring all cultural artifacts and while we were praying at the church, these were burned in our presence, accused of being "demons", etc".  Lies. What catholic churches did all over Africa, I later leaned,  (perhaps other Christian churches did too) was to burn African history, burn African culture, essentially burn African hearts and souls while we were there naively and ignorantly clapping and praying!  This was just part of the well-orchestrated brainwashing that Africans were subjected to and apparently it still continues. Interestingly the artifacts we were told represent evil and thus must be burned have become highly prized objects all over Europe, America, etc!

Unfortunately most Africans then and even today do not understand what this means. As evidenced below, most have taken it upon themselves to perpetrate this horrible damage and injustice done to a people. Most see it as just burning artifacts but the churches knew exactly what they were doing: destroy the core of the people and in doing so, make them believe in whatever they are taught, such as making Africans believe that Black is evil and White is good; that satan is Black and angels are Whites, that slavery was good for the Black man, etc. It worked. Today, Africans still do not have an intact core and thus live in limbo. African nations continue to struggle and their leaders believe that their people deserve to suffer.

Many people who would have felt comfortable practicing paganism have been coerced into becoming Christians. Thus, not much of culture is left in the society. Many of the so-called men and women of God are nothing but people who could have been pagan practitioners where the evil many of them commit today would not be possible (or at least be at a minimum since pagans have more fear of immediate retribution whereas Christians believe that theirs will come after death!) All over Eastern and Western Nigeria, where this endemic control of the people by religion seems more  prevalent, even funeral ceremonies are pretty much controlled by churches who now tell people when and how to bury their people! Masquerades and many cultural shows that used to make funeral ceremonies of older people, especially men, very interesting, have been labeled  "evil practices" by churches and people believe them!

No one can prove that putting together artifacts, eggs, painted faces, etc constitute evil. No one can prove that so-called voodoo actually work more than a mere magic. No one can prove that voodoo practitioners communicate with any God/god. (Just as no one can prove that the Pope, bishop, priests, pastors, etc communicate with God more than an average person does!) That pagans paint their faces with stuff means nothing. One can walk through those painted artifacts, eggs, etc without any harm, unless of course pins, kneels, etc are imbedded therein and hurt the person. These are not unlike what churches use during masses. Watch closely what churches do (at least catholic churches where I still go to) and one sees lots of similarities. But Europeans were extremely successful in teaching the Africans that their religion and in helping them destroy African religion. True, many bad things happened and still happen under the disguise of religion (be it Paganism, Christian, Moslem, etc) but this idea that just because paganism is practiced with painted faces, panted cups, eggs, invocation of gods/God, etc makes it evil is laughable!

If we destroy our culture, we have nothing! Sure I do condemn allowing cultural or traditional entanglements to control the lives of the people. Especially allowing those that by default, are sexist, wicked, hamper the future of the young, foster harm or neglect to children and society, etc but destroying what society uses to play is ugly and abhorable!

Joe

Subject: Re: [africanworldforum] IGBOS MIMIC ISLAMISTS, DESTROY IGBO SHRINE

This piece is very accurate. About ten years ago, a Christian revivalist minister was all over the Owerri area teaching folks to burn down what he called heathenistic shrines. They came to our compound and burned down the shrine to Amadioha. They did it rather gleefully for they considered it primitive. So, what am I, the current high priest of Amadioha going to do about it?  Nothing. What I need to do and have done is synthesize Igbo religion and imported Christian religion in a new religion that helps our people; we really cannot go back to old African religions or embrace Christianity as it is for it is  European religion and does not speak to the needs of our souls.

"...christians are acting like ISIS by destroying our rich cultural heritage in Jesus name." Nebu

The assertion above is limited in depth. ISIS are FULL-BLOODED muslims. Separating them from the rest of the Muslims is a mistake.

What's more, the islamic religion, from it's inception till today, has always SYSTEMATICALLY destroyed, has been systematically destroying and till the end of time will always systematically destroy the religious heritage of zones and places it has conquered, that it's conquering and that it will conquer. It's printed in it's DNA. The islamic religion has been doing it since 1600 Years.

Now, let's get something right, as condemnable as the acts below are, it might help some to know that our CULTURAL heritage and artifices with no religious connotations are NOT being destroyed by anybody in our land. A nuance here. They FULLY exist and remain as intact as it's possible and as they exist anywhere else in Nigeria and in Africa.

Just look at the serenity within the chief priest's premises. White people will pay millions to have a place so tranquil and natural like that but I bet you that 90% of dumb African christians reading this piece believe that place to be backward.

Our ancestors were smart in preserving the earth and all of its glory. They left forests intact, which helped control the temperature and minimized environmental pollution (by absorbing excess carbon dioxide). When I was a boy and upon visiting the villages, I would see shrines here and there; thick forests that made NYC's Central Park look like a backyard garden. Today, all those natural beauties are gone, replaced by fraudulent churches and mosques.

Rainforests are all but gone in most of Igboland inhabited by humans. Centuries old trees left by our ancestors have been cut down by stupid christians who accused those trees of harboring evil spirits and witches.

Nebukadineze (shouldering the good and the bad brought about by leadership) was borne by Igbo folks long before the white man worked bipedally. Upon getting to Igboland, the supremacist christian missionaries proscribed this name and forbade our people to bear it because it reminded them of the biblical Nebuchadnezzar. I found out about this (99% of Igbos do not even know it) and decided to do something about it -- I gave up my whiteman's baptismal name and began to answer to Nebukadineze. Shockingly, lots of stupid christian Igbos make fun of me for bearing this name. Most of them stupidly and illiterately invoke Nebuchadnezzar as my name sake, without even knowing that the biblical story about Nebuchadnezzar (of having gone made and eaten grasses) was a stupid fabrication that has been totally repudiated by history and archeology.

I am a materialist and as such I do not subscribe to worshiping anything, whether the biblical God or the African version as worshiped by our ancestors. However, if people must worship something, it makes sense that they worship what is indigenous to them. Africans can be extremely stupid in touting how much of christian born agains that they are. In Osuji's hometown, these depraved christians so sold off every shrine (Osuji's folks had them in extreme abundance) and built abominable churches atop them that the villagers got upset and fought the christians. Instead of the stupid governor (Ohakim) siding with the villagers, he sided with the christians and had the villagers, including the respected scholar Uju Nkwocha Afulezi, locked up by the police.

In Anambara state, one stupid medical doctor resident in the US made some quick money and also became a sickening born again christian. To show that he had arrived, he went home and changed the name of his village from Nkereihe to Umuchukwu (children of God) to signify his born again status. He claimed that Nkereihe denotes allegiance to the python (a symbol of satanism, according to him) but this idiot forgot that his folks have borne that name for millennia. This matter caused fracas that is still ongoing (even though the case is still in court). As was the case in Imo state, Peter Obi, then governor of Anambara state, sided with the maddening christians even though by Igbo culture one man cannot change the name of any village or of anything communally owned.

Frankly, christianity and islamism have made Africans exceptionally stupid. Our people will remain in this stupidity until they realize that these religions are frauds -- both the bible and the koran are fabricated verbiage that makes no sense to anyone whose IQ is in the double digits. Indeed, Igbo christians are acting like ISIS by destroying our rich cultural heritage in Jesus name. What a shame?

Africans are nothing but mental slaves

Africans (whatever that means!) lost their minds a half century ago and beyond. They threw away the best and ostensibly only post-colonial opportunity to redeem themselves from their colonial mental slavery, choosing to proceed in the colonial path. Africans dumped their African names and took European names because they had been brainwashed enough to believe that the white man's names are the one and only gateway into heaven. How many of you reading this have pure African names like Ngugi wa Thiong'o, Kwame Nkrumah, Wole Soyinka and Chinua Achebe? Before coming on to lecture African culture to me, follow my example and discard your European names into the dumpster of colonial infamy and assume African names (first, middle and last). After you do that patriotic African act and you have original African names instead of your colonial names, then you and I can have a serious debate about African culture. Are you, the African moron with the white man's names, sure you hear?

AFRICANS ARE LOSING OUR MINDS.

It is poverty that is ravaging African religion. Trillions of herbs and local medicines have been lost because they bastard Christians think they were from SATAN and no good.

Most of our youth think the Europeans have made life more convenient because they are Christians. Not so, it is because of scientific researches and what the church has done is Europe in the past is equivalent to what our youth are doing; destroying almost everything of native religion.

Think of the Indians in India. They have millions of Gods and Shrines and are now developing so rapidly that they are passing the big European companies. India where poverty was destroying them now can boast of Atomic bomb when Africa has no hydrogen bomb. Why so?

It is all because the Indian are worshipping their ancestral religion and are thinking with precision what they can do  within their own culture and life without imitating Europeans and Arabs.

They have destroyed all the Arts of our ancestors. All the invocation and chants. Africans are loosing it. We are going out of our minds and we may never get it again because it takes years to understand spirits.

A people without a religion are non people, We have lost it. The problem lies in our education where we place heaven as the only place to hide your after life propeties.

The priests are our problems. These are not European priests, they are pure natives who have miseducated our youth. My daughter is such a rabid Christian that she can even sacrifice her people to save her heaven. What a shame to see our youth think that Europeanization or Arabization is the key to our development.

Do they know that the Europeans and Arabs are abandoning their so called "Christianity?' and Islam respectively?

Christianity has dominated the Igbos so much so that it takes the priests; Catholic or Protestant to call for a town meeting when the king wanted it because almost every young Igbo respons to the Catholic or a protestant priest instead of the King.

Why is that as we advance deeper into the Western and Arab churches and Islamic Education, it becomes BOKO HARAM to our African culture. Do you know that Africans can never be Europeans and hence we cannot copy them blindly.

We must begin to study our culture and religion carefully for a people without their own region and culture are no more a people but slaves to foreign ideologies hiding in Church and Islamic doctrines. 50 years after independence we still kotow to the Western ideas of life while we eschew ours.

A priest who ate at the restaurant was alarmed when presented with a bill of 700 Naira, or roughly $3.50 ( Tens of millions of people in Nigeria subsist on less than $1 a day). "The attendant noticed my reaction and told me it was the small piece of meat I had eaten that made the bill scale that high," he said. "I did not know I had been served with human meat, and that it was that expensive."
women were arrested for murdering potential nanny candidates and then cooking their flesh into empanadas.
