--Dr Kassim,I endorse 90% of your position below. I shave off 10% because, in nature, one can never say never. You have always held your stand on an indivisible Nigeria since I met you on Nigeria-wide forums in the late 1990s; that longevity of having never deviated from it proves the authenticity of your mind on that subject matter. When necessary, you joined in warding off Yoruba tribalists, Igbo chronic secessionists, Edo culture-supremacists, etc. You have always failed to hold the North, especially Fulani, to task -- not because you are afraid of them, but because you patronize them, as if they are children or fragile. Sometimes you get confused by Yoruba tribalists to the point that you inadvertently stray away from your anti-tribalism plane, but the great thing is that you almost always self correct, sometimes even before anyone else noticed the straying away. For years here, I thought that Imperial Wizard was of your type; today, he either has been corrupted or he has always been a hypocrite. This hypocrisy has been the gravest obstacle to building a workable One Nigeria.Nebukadineze AdieleOn Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:03:05 AM EDT, Dr Ola Kassim <olaka...@aol.com> wrote:I prefer a united Nigeria where justice and equal treatment are meted out to all citizens, but I am not opposed to secession if a just Nigeria is unachievable. For me to embark on secession, I must ensure that I will defeat Nigeria in a war; I will not repeat the mistake of 1967. The corollary to these differences is the fact that we have many more incommon than what divides us.I think the above quote also sums up my opposition during the Odua'a Nation protestswhich reached its peak about 3 or 4 years ago.Folks, Nigeria is here to stay. Our duty is to make her work more efficiently so that she couldprovide most or all of the amenities that ordinary citizens of progressive nationsthrough out the world enjoy and take for granted.I do not foresee any region or ethnic group in Nigeria being able to survive as an independentnation. We are too intricately intertwined for such balkanization into bananarepublics to succeed.Secession of any region of Nigeria can only be achieved through military means. Theprice we would pay for such dangerous experiment might end up being worsethan the human costs and ruins left in the former eastern region of Nigeria after the 1967-70 Civil War.What I truly can not understand about my fellow Nigerians and humanity in general is this fixation on ethnicity, race, nationality etc. when in fact we had no role into which family, village, town or city anywherein the world we were born into.If India, a nation of 1.2 billion human beings also with many ethnic groups and languages and dialectslike Nigeria could thrive why not Nigeria. The chances of Odua'a Republic or Republic of Biafra emerging from today's Nigeria is over 1000 times lowerthan witnessing the first settlement of human beings on Planet Mars in our lifetime.Bye,OlaOn Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 10:12:09 a.m. EDT, 'Nebukadineze Adiele' via Corporate Nigeria <corporat...@googlegroups.com> wrote:Kayode Adebammuọjọ is pathetically stupid, he does not reason before he utters things and he has no shame in saying stupid things. You, Imperial Wizard, are an unjust human being who deploys lies, gossips, and propaganda to denying justice and equal treatment to your fellow human beings. If I belonged to IPOB, I would announce it and be proud of it. IPOB is not militant enough for me in terms of exiting Nigeria, that is why I abhor their actions. Their actions only hurt the young folks following them without having any chance of getting them Biafra, therefore their action is stupid, juvenile, and self-sabotaging -- Nebukadineze can never engage in such a stupidity. I can write a thesis on how to secede from Nigeria, and it will be simple -- wage a war against Nigeria and win that war, anything short of it is stupid and an unnecessary endangering of young folks' lives. Since IPOB has no army and no weapons with which to wage wars, win wars over Nigeria, etc., it cannot succeed in seceding from Nigeria. In addition, I don't want a new country that will reside inside Nigeria, as Lesotho and Eswatini are surrounded by South Africa; I want a Biafra that encompasses all of the former Eastern Region, Igbo portions of the Mid-Western Region, and most parts of the Middle Belt; this has to be obtained through political dialogue and compromise or by force. Without an army that can accomplish the annexation, should the political dialogue and compromise fail, seceding from Nigeria will be suicidal and more stupid than the 1967 attempt. You and the Deranged Ape are being childish in ascribing IPOB to Nebu, that is an insult because I am too sophisticated for their movement. My defense is not their movement, which gives the Nigerian state the cover to committing atrocities in Igbo land and getting away with doing so -- by blaming IPOB -- my defense is their right to protesting without their protests construed as terrorism by the real terrorists -- the Nigerian state and some Nigerians like Imperial Wizard and Deranged Ape Kayode Adebammuọjọ.I prefer a united Nigeria where justice and equal treatment are meted out to all citizens, but I am not opposed to secession if a just Nigeria is unachievable. For me to embark on secession, I must ensure that I will defeat Nigeria in a war; I will not repeat the mistake of 1967.
