Why Black People Tend to Shout by Ralph Wiley

This one doesn’t read like a typical book. It feels more like someone just talking, saying things how they see them without trying to sound polished.

Ralph Wiley mixes humor with real observations about race, culture, and everyday behavior. Some parts are funny, then you realize there’s actually truth behind what he’s saying.

What stood out to me is how unfiltered it is. You won’t agree with everything, but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to please anyone. It just feels honest.

It’s an easy read, but not a forgettable one. Some of the lines stay with you after.

I wrote a fuller breakdown of it here if you want the deeper take on my subscription book club:  https://buymeacoffee.com/.../why-black-people-tend-shout...

Covid-19 mask was a taste of their own bit in 2019-2022.
