Colonel Conrad Nwawo Africa Business World

Col. Conrad Nwawo, one of the greatest commanders in the Biafran war effort, from Onicha-Ugbo, Aniocha North LGA of Delta State, died on Saturday February 27, 2016. He was 94 years old. As a Major in the Nigerian contingent of the UN peace-keeping mission to Congo in 1963, only he and the late Col. Adekunly Fajuyi  who as Military Governor of the Western Region was murdered in the July 1966 counter coup, received the Military Cross decoration.........

This Niger Delta sef. Where is their Capital? Is it Asaba, across from Onitsha? Dr. Okonjo sef. Is she from Niger Delta? Ok. Who was slaughtered by Nigerian soldiers at Asaba? No be Niger Delta? If you are not Yoruba or Fulani, what kind of citizen do you think you are? First class? Look at Benue? Boko Haram disguised as Fulani herdsmen are slaughtering them. Don't you now know why they voted to join Biafra?

Only an ignorant person would say that the Niger Delta was part of Biafra, accept an occupied land. How many of these commanders are from the ethnic groups that make up the Niger Delta. Anyone who would want to make the people of the Niger Delta a second class citizens in their own country, will meet a very stiff opposition.
