Out Christianity has as much violent past as other religions. Many have committed immense and unimaginable atrocities in the name of religion which they were never ordained or calleo on to do divinely.

It's all about fellow men trying to enforce their will over others forcefully.

Yes, the mask was a torture device probably used during the Catholic inquisition. Yes, the inquisition was real. Yes, innocent people were killed by catholic and protestants during their brands of inquisitions.

Yes, there is christian terrorism in the past as lately as the recently defunct IRA campaign in Ireland/NI/GB.

Whether or not it has nothing to do with Christianity is not the core issue: the core issue (imo) is: was it used by Christians to forcefully convert people? Who created it and for what? Who used it? Did the Christians use it? 

And yes, Islam is as violent as Christianity - imo. So let’s get the argument of you thinking that I asked the above questions as a Muslim, which I am not in practicality.

Fact is, that post is false. No torture mask like that was used by the church.

That said, the Spanish inquisition was terrible, no question - but we must understand that it was in a spain which had just been liberated from 700 years of Islamic rule... while that doe not justify it, iyt puts it in perspective....

The Roman Catholic church does not deny torture took place during the inquisition.
What is your authority on this issue? Please reference them.

Sounds like when Igbos decided to play the ostrich game, Zik joined Sardauna to fuck up Nigeria.
