Olola Kassim,

Today in Nigeria children are dying of malnutrition. There are cases of kwashiorkor reported across northern and south western Nigeria as we write. Doctors Without Borders are pouring into Nigeria to stem the impending deaths of Nigerian from hunger.

You are a doctor who got free education from Nigeria to become a medical doctor but the plight of this hungry children is none of your concern. You have no qualms that children are dying.

You are totally consumed with blaming the Igbo for a war and a starvation policy initiated by members of your tribe. Clearly you are consumed by guilty conscience and that guilt shall follow all the days of your life on earth.

Robert Goldstein… Biafra Public Relations rep in USA, 1967 to 1968…. On August 17, 1968, he tendered his resignation to the Biafran government and gave his reasons:

That Ojukwu was more interested in propaganda than the welfare of the people he incited to a reckless war where thousand of people were perishing everyday from a slow painful death through starvation.

While people starved to death and fed on the flesh of their children to survive, Ojukwu fed well and his head became so big that a cooking pot used for making jollof rice in large parties was named after him….. ‘AGBARI OJUKWU’

Robert Goldstein played a big role in the meeting at Kampala… in the meeting, African governments put plans in place to send food aid to Biafra… to the shock of Robert Goldstein, Ojukwu’s team walked out on the meeting

Again, Robert Goldstein arranged for food aid from the west to be shipped home and negotiated with Gowon’s government to allow land corridors to transport the food. Gowon agreed. Ojukwu turned it down.

It became obvious that Ojukwu… a mentally deranged demagogue did not want the people given food because he wanted the pictures of starving Biafrans to flood western media and then use that for ceasefire propaganda. The people were puns of the megalomaniac obsessed for power.

Goldstein resigned and wrote on his letter…. ‘ I cannot in all conscience serve you any longer. Your starving thousands in Biafra have food and medicine available to them….. only your constant refusal has stopped its delivery.

Azikiwe also observed this and said in his speech of October 1969…. ‘. It sickens me to see skeletal Biafran babies on pages of news papers…. I wish Ojukwu would have a second thought…. Instead of disfiguring the pages of Nigeria history as another political impostor and petty tyrant.

This recklessness is what IPOB has embarked on… gradually introducing hardship into the region… and they are planning to bring this into Yorubaland…. Same way Ojukwu tried to invade from Ore.

This is why IPOB and OBIDIENT movement must be shut down everywhere in Yorubaland.

Brother Tajudeen:

I think it is unfair to lump Gen. Emeka Ojukwu’s leadership of the Igbo
before and after the civil war with those of Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa’s and
other pretend leaders of the Igbo at home and abroad.

Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa are pretend leaders of a phantom (imaginary) Republic
of Biafra with probably less than 10,000 Igbos committed to their cause worldwide.

My recent brief 4 day trip to Lagos for a family event confirmed to me what I have always
assumed
that the Igbo are not in the process of ever departing Lagos and the SW for
any Republic of Biafra in the SE, primarily or in expanded territory that includes
the rest of the SS anytime soon or ever. Doing so would be like expecting the majority of multi-genetational
African-Americans, Chinese, Asians and those of European origin returning to the countries where
their great great grand parents came from.

The Igbo have been too deeply embedded in Lagos and the rest of the
SW for  over 3 to 5 generations to voluntarily or be successfully forcefully
repatriated back to their homelands in the SE and the SS.

Neither can Lagos remain as the economic behemoth
of Nigeria without the enterprise of the Igbo.

I took a break of one day during my visit to explore along with my nephew
and his wife
the region of
Lagos Island which the United Nations has officially declared
as the largest Flea Market in the world. This market encompasses
to the North
all areas East and West of the landings of Carter Bridge, and second and third
Mainland Bridges and spreads southwards through Tinubu square to Obalende
and the Toll Bridge to Victoria Island and the Lekki Peninsula.

There are thousands of legal and illegal multi story small indoor and outdoor shops
In all locations in this area no matter which direction one looks not to mention.
the thiusands of street hawkers.

There are so many diverse commercial activities going on that cars find it difficult
to manoeuvre due to pedestrian and Keke Maruwa traffic.

The market completely surrounds the Iga Idunganran Palace of the Oba of Lagos.
Everything is available for sale both for personal and commercial use. The area I explored the most
was the one encircling the Palace. This area specializes in medical equipments and disposables.
All types of medical equipments that are needed in clinics and hospitals, operating room beds, scalpels,
plasters, both new and  and pharmaceuticals are available. The operators of all the medical supplies are all
Igbo. Idumagbo Avenue, where I was born has a more diverse population of Nigerians from
all ethnic groups. I watched as my nephew an Orthopedic surgeon and his wife, a nurse with their
well equipped General Hospital they built in
Akure, negotiate to buy quantities of medical supplies including crutches while I was provided a comfortable
chair to sit and the air conditioner turned on to make me comfortable in the hot
weather. If my nephew who hails from the SW and his wife from Umunede. Delta state could feel
comfortable living and working in Akure, why not all
other Nigerians including the Igbo living in Lagos and anywhere else they
wish within the geographical boundaries of Nigeria?

I think it is time to stop ruminating about the idea
of Nigeria ever breaking up!

We are all in this Nigerian boat together. We either work together to make her
float in the stormy weather of global geopolitics and economic climate or we
sink together.

The true representatives of the Igbo are the leaders
of the Ohaneze and their elected political leaders.
They are not seeking secession of
their homeland from the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Bye,

Ola/‘Layi

Chei! IPOB /inyanmrins (the terrorists) are really gullible & therefore easily exploitable.

Ojukwu exploited them for his hunger for power & control of Nigeria, he got a lot of them killed, failed in his goal but became their hero.

Kanu did the same thing, exploiting them, he is their current hero.

Ekpa is doing the same thing, will most likely be another one of their heroes once Nigeria finally have him in detention for prosecution.
Nigeria is already complaining to Finish about his activities. It’s just a matter of time.

BREAKING: Kano govt orders demolition of Emir Bayero’s residence

Photo of Goodness Adaoyiche June 20, 2024
 1 minute read

The Governor Abba Yusuf Kabir-led government has reportedly ordered the demolition of Nasarawa Palace, the official residence of the deposed emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.

The order came few hours after the Federal Hight Court sitting in Kano reversed Bayero’s removal and the subsequent reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the 16th emir of Kano.

The Kano State Government has also instructed the Kano State Commissioner of Police to immediately remove Bayero from Nassarawa Palace, which is owned by the state.

The Kano government further said that the properties are set to undergo demolition for the purpose of reconstruction.

Addressing journalists at Government House on Thursday, the state attorney-general and commissioner for justice, Barrister Haruna Isah Dederi, said Bayero should be evicted because all is set for the reconstruction and renovation of the property.

“By the ruling of the Court, it has unequivocally. reaffirmed the validity of the law passed by Kano State House of Assembly and assented to by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kano State on Thursday 23rd May, 2024 by 5:10pm. This part of the judgement is very fundamental to the entire matter,” Dederi said.

“Further implication of the ruling is that all actions done by the Government before the emergence of the interim order of the honorable Court, are equally validated. This means that, the abolishing of the five emirates created in 2019 is validated and the deposition of the Five emirs is also sustained by the Federal High Court. By implication this means that Muhammadu Sanusi II remains the emir of Kano.

“Following this Court’s ruling, Kano State Government has directed the State Commissioner of Police to remove the deposed emir of the 8 metropolitan local governments from the Government property where he is trespassing as Government has already concluded arrangements for the general reconstruction and renovation of the property including the demolishing and reconstruction of the dilapidated wall fence with immediate effect.”

WS,

What you ever fail to notice is the objectivity of the Yorubas. DOK, unbundled Ojukwu initially from the likes of Kanu, Ekpa etc but having seen an article about Ojukwu's use of self-imposed starvation of his own people, the people he supposedly fighting to free, as a leverage for ceasefire, DOK posted it.

DOK basically blew his own argument for unbundling Ojukwu from the likes of Kanu, Ekpa etc to pieces. On a good day, DOK approach is a trait we as Nigerians should all embrace. See facts and say it as you see it, not just slide it under the carpet when it doesn't suit your stand or bend it to suit your narrative.

WS, if anything, you show yourself up as insincere and a great purveyor of lies and half truth.

Poverty and strife in the north and south west? Where would you rather be in Nigeria? I can bet it's anywhere but south east!

Regards,

Femi Olajide
