Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu _ HRM Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu told President Tinubu.
Onye iberibe amaghị mgbe ekere nkụ ụkwa.
It has been revealed that the reason why Tinubu gathered prominent traditional leaders from Southern Nigeria, comprising Southeast, South South and Southwest was to establish a Southern traditional leaders alliance to stand against the Fulani controlled Traditional Leaders Council headed by Sultan of Sokoto. This development on the surface appears nice and enticing. However, something more sinister lies deeply beneath the gathering at Abuja.
According to reports, the government proposes to make Ooni of Ife the only permanent chairman of the proposed alliance, sidelining prominent traditional rulers from the other regions within the alliance.
This development has raised serious concerns over the intentions behind the proposal for a Southern traditional Unity. With questions from different quarters asking the sincerity behind making a person from one region a permanent chairman of a regional bloc. Consequently, leaving these other regions marginalized.
This is not seeking regional Unity. It is institutionalizing Marginalization of others.
#Biafrans, are you following the gradual execution of French Intelligence DGSE advisory to Tinubu on how to work on our people using the proposed Southern traditional Unity; to pander with the sensibilities of our traditional leaders so that they'll endorse Tinubu and see that he wins the 2027 election in Biafraland, while also working against the restoration of Biafra as championed by IPOB.
It is an insult to Biafrans that the Nigerian government still doesn't regard our traditional leaders as equals to their counterparts in other regions. If such proposal can be made without wider consultations, then it exposes the enormous contempt the Nigerian government under Tinubu continues to harbour for our people.
