African Christians will never find it ironic how the British took the "demonic" African idols to put in their museums and make millions with them while they left a useless Jesus in Africa.
They called our ancestors' gods evil and our statues demons. They said our worship was darkness. Then they stole those gods, packed them in crates, and put them behind glass in London. And now they charge admission to see them.
If those idols were so evil, why are they in British museums? Why are they displayed like treasure? Why are they making money for the same people who told us they were worthless? Because they were never worthless. They were powerful. Too powerful to leave in our hands. So they took them. And they left Jesus instead.
They left a God who taught us to turn the other cheek. A God who told us to obey our masters. A God who promised us heaven after we died. A God who would not help us reclaim what was stolen. That was not a gift. That was a replacement. A pacifier. A system designed to keep us quiet while they walked away with our kings, our queens, and our gods.
And now we worship the one they left behind. We sing hymns to the God of the colonizers. We pray in their churches. We submit to their religion. We gave up the gods of our ancestors for a God who watched our ancestors get sold into slavery. And we call that salvation. Any sane person would never ignore that.
The British are not fools. They knew exactly what they were doing. They took the gold. They took the gods. They left the cross. And we are still carrying it. Still believing it. Still waiting for it to save us. While they sit in their museums, counting the money we paid to see what they stole.

The consequence is that Mbaise/Owere are hotter now than they were in the 1980s because there are scanty trees to give off oxygen and absorb the carbon dioxide given off by humans; erosion now devastates everywhere during the rainy season because there are not enough forests to control the acceleration of flood water before it empties into the seas/rivers/ocean. I remember there were man-made flood water containing dam-like structures that every village dug/had in my youth (iyi ala, they were called). Our people are being stupid in still thinking that Christianity is not fiction or that everything African is backward and done/instituted just for no reasons. There is a gigantic store on Madison Avenue (NYC) that sells weaved baskets, wooden plates, spatulas, Cain chairs, and all the stuffs that our African ancestors lived on before oyibo came and condemned them. Ironically, oyibo are making and selling these things to Africans -- Nigerian merchants are importing and reselling them in Nigeria, even though oyibo copied them from us and our people can still make them locally had they not been brainwashed into loving the ones imported from oyibo land.

Africans should reject Christianity and Islam, else Africa will remain wretched until oyibo returns and makes it their home, after Africans shall have all stupidly japaed to oyibo land.

Your Igbo gods that your ancestors left for you are idols, you dumb idol worshipper from backward Mbaise Bush. They are human creations. Abraham Demented Madu's father carved them from trees in his village and put them in your shrines to worship. Idiot, you abandoned Christianity and Catholicism in 2018 for idol worship, you discombobulated fool who lied against the former Pope, because your uncle from Mbaise Bush was not made a Cardinal by the Pope.

Your Mbaise Bush is hotter today than ever before, because of Climate Change, you dummy who failed science woefully in High School. It's not because there are fewer trees in your backward Mbaise Bush village. If you hadn't dropped out of college in 1990 when you came to America, you would have known that. That's why there is flood everywhere in your backward and Neanderthal village.

Diabolical liar, Nigeria doesn’t import baskets, wooden plates or arts. Nigeria exports them to Europe and America. When you live in a roach infested apartment in Harlem, you won't know that Nigeria doesn't import what it makes in abundance. It exports them and they're all over the stores across America. The white man that employs you as his slave and Mai Guard of Central Park has bastardized your brain beyond redemption. That's why you think backwards.

You're a shame and an utter disgrace to your Igboland and the entire humanity.

Kayusee,

You got Nebu wrong here.

Nebu never said deforestation is climate change. He said it is climate change inducing. Can you please let us call a spade a spade, and not a fucking spade!

However, Nebu went further to show his ignorance by claiming pure water satchet and open defecation also contributes to climate change. This is where he showed he doesn't understand the difference between climate change and pollution.

Yes, human excrement has a percentage of methane, a green house gas, when it breaks down and decomposes but it is minute compared to cows' dung composition. Hardly notable.

Deforestation is probably one of the highest climate-change inducing factors. While deforestation doesn't itself cause climate change, deforestation takes away the self-healing system that has evolved for several millions of years for sinking and mitigating carbon dioxide build-up, a global warming gas, from persisting.

We inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, while plants(forests) take in carbon dioxide for photosynthesis and push out oxygen as the by product.

Human contribute to global warming by exhaling carbon dioxide, but one can hardly say all human should be exterminated for contributing to global warming. The trick here is to get the balance right. It's all about yik and yak. A little bad in your good, and a little good in your bad will form an equilibrium that will soothe the good, the bad and even the ugly!

Regards,

Femi Olajide

This vile vulture, Kayode Adebammuj, reeks of rotted carcass of a pig every time he jiggery jags; he confirms his lunacy, illiteracy, and his addiction to projecting his failed life on others.

As typical, he doesn't even know the meaning of "climate change", yet he shamelessly spat out "climate change" as if it is something that occurs naturally or by itself. The moron does not know that climate change is the product of negative things that humans do the environment. For example, gas flaring, oil pollution of waters, over fishing, deforestation by loggers and church-erecting religious hucksters, Nigerians' drinking of sachet water and tossing the plastic wraps around, etc.  are all actions that lead to climate change. Were this moron educated enough to possess deductive reasoning ability, he would have recognized that what I pointed out about shrines' destruction and replacement with churches/trees' felling, are as climate change-inducing as open defecations in Lagos and most parts of Northern Nigeria.

As a continuation of his lying stupidly, he claimed that Nebu has ever campaigned against anyone's becoming of Bishop, even though the petition of Nebu's that he referred to and even excerpted was supporting the non-Mbaise bishop (Okpalaeke), which was why Mbaise folks were angry at me. Nebu is as unchangeable as the Northern star on justice matters as the Northern star itself. When Edo folks protested an Igbo's becoming the archbishop of Beinin, I condemned them because, having been raised a catholic, I know that holding church position has no respect or preference for tribe/nationality, the Catholic Dioceses appoint whoever is qualified. So when my maternal home people of Mbaise, who lead the world in producing Reverend fathers/priests per capita, emulated the Edo's protest that I had condemned, I called them out because if they succeeded, Mbaise priests who are everywhere in Nigeria would become recipients of that type of protest anytime that any of them emerged top candidate for any position. So, that this rabid animal read that petition, which originated from these forums by the way, and stupidly portrayed it as canvassing the opposite of what it canvassed. shows that this pig will die miserably/horrendously and vultures would feast on his accursed carcass, eehaa!
