Ken, Good point. As Catholics, we have masses for the dead. We also believe in the Communion of Saints. Therefore, it makes sense to assume that the Requem Mass has currency with God, as a form of Intercession. No repentance in the grave doesn't mean no forgiveness in the grave; they are two different things. The problem with self made pastors of unknown denominations and other pseudo theologians, like Bolahi Aluko, is that they deign to assume that they have rhe rquiesite knowledge that applies to the Catholic faith. In this case, I say that because Valentine Ojo was, clearly, baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. He couldn't be otherwise if he went to Catholic elementary and huigh schools, as he appeared to have done. I think that those who are wishing ill of Valentine's soul have big surprises waiting for them when their times come! Stevek. |

Dem say give credit when credit is due. Am giving credit to above statement, because I believe it to be true.
Stevek, very profound statement on your part, keep the progress up, and pat yourself on the back. Hehehe!
Lord have mercy on us, all of us - dead and alive - need prayers. This is not a new thing or Christian created, African religions all pray for the dead and to the dead. God bless. Cheers. "I"
