Dear Pope and Catholic Church
I don’t understand why Blessed Iwene Tansi has not yet been canonized a saint since he was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1998 whereas other white counterparts have been beatified .
The Church process for declaring saints has been slower for candidates from African regions. I don’t want to believe it as a racial and ethnic bias!
We Africans demand Equal treatment. The white saints can’t be more holier than Our own Iwene Tansi . Failure to decorate him with saintly title , we shall decorate him by ourselves.
