Today's Igbo Proverb

Proverb:

Ihe ọ sọrọ gị bee aguiyi ọdụ, ọdụ ya ga na-akpụ n'ala.

(No matter how short you may want to cut the tale of a crocodile, the remaining part will never leave the ground)

*Some persons are very difficult to be satisfied. No matter how you try to please them, they will never stop complaining).

*It is quite difficult to get out of a bad habit.

*It is a caution proverb for those who have wasted much resources trying to set up a prodigal sibling. At the end, to avail. Or what do you think?

From the Village Elder,

Okenye
