Hello. My name is Wale Idris Ajibade; I am the executive director of African Views Organization. I must confess that I was very intimidated about the prospect of fundraising. However, I am encouraged by the notion that a nonprofit organization is an operation of needs of the people- by the people-for the benefit of the people. This simply means if it serves the people then the people must have a stake in it. So, last week, I sent out an email asking for your donation to African Views for the first time in 5 years of our existence and I was truly humbled by how many positive responses we received.  We are getting closer to our quota, but we are not quite there yet. There is a deadline to our media operations studio subscription by Friday, October 18th at 5PM, EST.  We've done everything we can to contain costs without compromising quality, but in order to continue bringing you quality programing we must not allow our studio privileges to lapse.  You can make a difference by donating: $10, $20, $50, $100 or more before our deadline elapses on Friday October 18th at 5PM EST. Remember that when you pledge, other than our gratitude, you'll also get a great feeling, knowing you've helped support a young and dynamic grassroots organization such as African Views.
