Greetings Great Africans,
It is a great privilege to invite you again, to the conference marking the 8th edition of the New Africa Project. The details of this event are as follows:
Theme: Africa Must Be in Us
Date: Saturday, September 27, 2008
Venue: The Conference Hall, Busyinternet
Time: 9am Prompt.
Why This Theme:
The bridge between the African past and the African future is the African youth. Imagine how strong that bridge would
be if the African youth would think and apply themselves to issues going on around them from the African perspective.
We can only address the matters that confront us in Africa as Africans. If we hold this statement to be true, what should we do, to ensure that we deal with African issues from an African perspective? We must use this meeting to explore how in the various African communities, we deal with and should deal with issues pertaining to governance, resource management and the environment.
If we must give African solutions to African Problems, then Africa must be in us.
We look forward to seeing you there. Please tell your friends and bring along with you, as many of them as you can. Do also feel free to let us know at least two days before the event, if you would like to say something (no matter how small) on the theme-we will be happy to hear your views.
Always remember, Africa has hope because Africa has you.
