Hello Colleagues, I am still hanging out on the peaceful mountains of the Pyrenees. All is well except for few family legal affairs I have to help with.

Regarding the PE in Africa, my view is slightly different. I agree with the speculative increase in PE in Africa for the energy sector as the world has an insatiable appetite for energy consumption and Africa continues to discover more fields etc. This is not new to any of us and that sector is flooded with high risk, high return, short term money seeking investments.

What I found interesting is this: the US started to pullback on the quantitative easing in the economy likewise UK and I believe the rest of the western world will follow suit except for the Japanese market (a different issue), as this easing continues and the US market gets better, the PE fund currently into Africa in search of greener pastures will start moving back to a more secure and decent return on investment. So in this case, I see a pullback from emerging markets (Africa especially) except for the energy sector.
This is a great opportunity for us,  as I believe this creates a GAP for quality platform of information and investment direction that will identify the diamond in the rough for PE and investment funds - This should be us.

This is my take from the mountains of the Pyrenees, this may be the effect of quality air and peaceful environment.

I am working on having the MIT folding car available here in the Pyrenees for me to drive around, I think it will be cooooooooool.
Talk soon
