The Association of African Entrepreneurs in partnership with the The Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Santa Clara University, USA is offering a 3-day Training Workshop for Social Entrepreneurs.
The Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship accelerates social entrepreneurship through its three departments: Global Social Benefit Institute (GSBI®), Impact Capital, and Education & Action Research. The GSBI team provides social entrepreneurs with Silicon Valley mentors and programs to prepare for growth. The Impact Capital team connects impact investors with social entrepreneurs and innovates new ways to invest for social and financial returns. The Education and Action Research team shapes future leaders by providing research opportunities for Santa Clara students to work alongside social entrepreneurs in the field.
Scheduled for January 11 - 13 2016, the GSBI would pack core business lessons into a powerful 3-day workshop to help local, early-stage social entrepreneurs learn business fundamentals, improve their strategic thinking, and articulate a business plan that demonstrates impact, growth, and long-term financial sustainability.
By the end of the workshop, participating enterprises have the strategies and materials to grow their enterprise in a financially sustainable manner and apply for the funding and capacity building programs they need to reach the next level of growth.
