Good Afternoon/Good Evening/Good Morning!

I would like to introduce myself. I am Isabelle A. Harman, a new volunteer for AAE. I found AAE through the UN Virtual Volunteer site. I am writing a pitch to attract potential donors in support of the Fall 2016 training.

In order to gain a greater understanding of the organization and write a pitch that represents the essence of AAE members as well as entrepreneurs throughout Africa, I am conducting a survey of some of the contributing authors found on the AAE web site.

Below is the link to a six(6)-question survey. All questions request a narrative response. Question 6 is optional. In addition, all responses are anonymous.

The survey is not restricted to those of you who are receiving this e-mail. Please forward this link to others who may offer insight into AAE and entrepreneurship in Africa. One of the questions is specifically about your contributions as authors but is not framed to exclude others from responding.

The survey will close at 5 p.m. (Eastern, U.S.) on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

The more responses we receive, the more insight we will gain. Please share the survey.

Following the closing of the survey, I'll analyze the results and share them with AAE leadership. 

I would like to emphasize that the responses of the survey will be used, in the short-term, to ensure the quality of the pitch I will write. It will include content that reflects the values and purpose of AAE and African Entrepreneurs.

My goal is to increase contributions to ensure all funding for the Fall 2016 training is raised.

In addition to producing a pitch in narrative form, I will also provide a visual pitch in the form of a Prezi slide show.

The survey is simple and can serve as a first step to gaining insight into the entrepreneur community that is growing in Africa.
