Dear all,

You are cordially invited to the Black History Month Virtual Celebration. The African American, Caribbean American and the African Affairs Advisory Groups cordially invite you to join us on Zoom on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 6:30 PM, for a profound moment of reflection of the past, present, and future.

The event's theme, "At the Crossroads of Black History and Womanhood: Where Have We Been, Where Are We Now, and Where Are We Going?" is both timely and pivotal for our collective efforts in advancing our community and recognizing the indispensable role of Black women as the cornerstone of Black families.

We are privileged to host a distinguished group of women who serve as pillars of our community. Black women consistently demonstrate extraordinary resilience and perseverance in navigating the spaces they occupy, a reality that resonates universally. However, there remains significant progress to be made in fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility to genuinely recognize and honor the multifaceted identities within the Black community, particularly those of Black women.

Prepare for an evening of enlightenment, featuring additional insights and a moment of reflection led by Alijah Wheeler & Dr. Cholet Josué, on women wellness.
