If someone you are working with receives a denial from a landlord, gets push back about working with certain programs,
is told they can't or shouldn't apply, or anything that may be a discriminatory or questionable practice,
please use the link below to share that information with us.
The SEPH HL team is collaborating with OHR and DHCA to track trends and real time incidents.
This data helps to document if fair housing practices are occurring and resources continue to be accessible to those in need.

Things to Note

2. This list is geared toward community partners. We encourage you to serve as the direct liaison and advocate
in communication with the landlord
3. Advocating for Clients often means exploring a landlord’s “no” by working with the landlord to
see what is needed to quickly house the Client
4. Providers are encouraged to verify individual circumstances with their Client to ensure the unit is a best fit
5. Provide all supporting documents (i.e. program support letters, identifying docs) when applying for a unit.
6. Everything helps when considering and reconsidering an application
