This Saturday 12/9 from 10:00AM – 3:00PM is the Montgomery County Newcomer Initiative Resource Fair at Neelsville Middle School in Germantown (flyer attached). Please spread the word about this event, which will bring together over 30 public and private community organizations to provide information about resources and services relevant to newly arrived immigrants and migrants. All providers will have Spanish-speaking representatives and a Spanish presentation about legal rights will be offered in the afternoon. Individual immigration consultations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you will be participating as a provider at the fair and have not yet RSVP’ed, please email newcomeri...@montgomerycountymd.gov as soon as possible to reserve a table. Please help us spread the word about this event.

Manager III (Closing Date December 9, 2023)
Directs and oversees all operations of the Newcomer Initiative, coordinating closely with public and private partners. Spanish proficiency is required for this position.

Program Manager II (Closing Date December 26, 2023)
Works with the Newcomers Manager to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the Initiative’s program efforts to meet local needs related to newcomers in Montgomery County. Oversees and coordinates specific direct operations and monitors contracts of services delivered by community partners. Spanish or French proficiency is required for this position.
