Dear Dr Jackson
My name is Felix, I work at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in London. I first heard about you through my friend Helen Pickering who met you in the Zanaga mine camp in Congo Brazzaville. Helen gave me “mean and lowly things” which I really enjoyed, being able to relate to logistics and work experience in Congo.
We are currently involved in another mine project in Guinea and for the last few months studied coastal inselbergs. We happened to come across this species of frog and since I have a long lasting interest in amphibians through my father, I would like to find out what species it is. Would you be able to identify from this picture? That would be very kind.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Many thanks,
Very best wishes,
Felix.
